Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks a Services Architecture Expert at our Newtown Square, PA location to understand the as-is situation and goals of a customer holistically (e.g. industry, LoB), can translate them into an appropriate business-driven IT-roadmap and architecture design based on SAP’s offerings and SAP’s cloud strategy.
Expectations and Tasks:
Operationalize the customer's business strategies by identifying relevant components and approaches to derive optimal solutions, enabling customers to leverage the unique benefits of SAP's cloud solutions. Challenge existing solutions and concepts to create state-of-the-art, future-ready outcomes. Develop integrated solutions that serve as a foundation for future SAP business. Collaborate with customers, partners, and SAP teams to ensure effective implementation, driving knowledge management and innovation based on customer experiences. Document successful approaches and tools and make these resources available internally at SAP and work closely with development teams to co-innovate. Support sales by articulating deployment scope, design, roadmap, and estimates, while designing optimal architectures that facilitate expected business outcomes. Define the strategic, conceptual, and organizational scope for SAP-centric IT landscapes, particularly in challenging customer requirements, and develop comprehensive business, application, data, technology, or enterprise architectures in collaboration with customers. Troubleshoot critical customer issues related to SAP. Fulfill the architect role in service delivery, while advising and mentoring diverse teams that include customers, partners, and SAP resources.
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study and seven (7) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Experience must include five (5) years involving each of the following:
Implementing SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA Solution and modules;
Managing and executing data transformation (i.e. migration and conversion) projects;
Data migration techniques and approaches including DMLT methods and standard transactional methods;
ABAP Programming and debugging;
SAP Data Models and technical structures;
Database knowledge and troubleshooting; and
Solution design including data architecting and system architecting.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $125,923 - $206,640. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $151,900 - $258,300. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
