Job Description
We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.
What you’ll build
As a Technical Consultant in SAP’s DMLT (Data Management & Landscape Transformation) team, you will help customers transform their SAP system landscapes through high-impact data migration, transformation, and consolidation projects. You’ll also apply your developer skills to enhance existing toolsets and contribute to cloud-based development initiatives.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Configuring and operating SAP DMLT tools to execute data migration and transformation activities
- Delivering technical project execution from design to go-live support
- Performing system and feasibility analyses for scenarios like system merges, carve-outs, or selective data transitions
- Designing effective architectures for data consolidation and harmonization using SAP technologies
- Resolving technical issues during testing and execution phases to ensure quality outcomes
- Collaborating with architects, solution experts, and offshore teams for smooth delivery
What you bring
- 3–5 years of technical experience in SAP consulting or development, ideally in data migration or transformation projects
- Hands-on experience in at least two SAP data migration projects or development skills in Java, JavaScript, Python, and SAP UI5
- Proficiency in SAP ABAP development and understanding of SAP ECC and S/4HANA data models
- Practical experience with SAP migration tools (Migration Cockpit, Data Services, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with emerging SAP technologies such as SAP Business Data Cloud, Datasphere, or SAP CAP model
- Strong process understanding across core business areas (Lead-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, etc.)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, customer focus, and collaborative mindset
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
- Willingness to travel (10–30%) regionally or globally
Where you belong
You’ll join Data Management and Landscape Transformation (DMLT), a global organization within SAP’s Customer Service & Delivery board area, with more than 300 consultants worldwide. Our mission is to enable customers to intelligently connect people, data, and processes — ensuring data becomes a true asset for innovation and sustainable growth.
DMLT offers a holistic approach to data-related needs, covering data quality, integration, and transformation. We help customers fast-track migrations, manage complex transformations, and optimize processes for SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP Business Data Cloud, and beyond.
You’ll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that values innovation, learning, and career progression. Expect exposure to cutting-edge technologies, global projects, and opportunities to shape SAP’s transformation engine.
