ROLE DESCRIPTION:

The SAP Adoption Services Center (ASC) is an organization that provides remote/onsite SAP consulting services to SAP customers. It is a global team with centers in EMEA, India, Greater China, North America and Latin America. And the Cloud ERP solution area of the ASC focuses on the S/4HANA product and drives the RISE with SAP Methodology for S/4HANA, as a core element of the digital strategy of our customers.

We are growing the Mexico and Brazil based nearshore centers to expand our delivery capabilities within the Americas region. Our desire is to provide SAP’s customers access to the best global network of consultants with expertise in SAP’s latest technologies. The Brazil nearshore center, for Digital Industries, is a sophisticated Service & Knowledge organization providing unique capabilities to SAP’s customers on their implementations of innovation products.

We are looking for a Senior SAP Business Process consultant, who is very experienced in MM or SD processes, with knowledge in SAP S/4HANA, very sound experience in master data and handling of business partners in S/4HANA, knowledge of key business functions in logistics S/4HANA processes and knowledge in at least one industry solution and/or one line-of-business solution within our scope of solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive or lead key roles or tracks in Professional Services engagements of SAP solutions as logistics business process expert during all key phases and cycles of the projects.
  • Advise customer on industry best practices in the required area of expertise, with focus on Digital Industries, mainly on Consumer Industries solution portfolio.
  • Support sales activities during elaboration and evaluation of SAP Services project proposals.
  • Support other activities outside of consulting/professional services, such as support engagements, customer escalations and expert-on-demand requests, as required.
  • Contribute as key participant in internal global initiatives supporting SAP strategy for helping customers drive their digital strategies and innovations.
  • Be deeply involved in our culture of knowledge sharing, and in assets use and improvement, acting as portfolio enabler and skills multiplier.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:

  • Provide remote/onsite SAP consulting services to key SAP customers on innovation products, mainly in Consumer Industries solution portfolio.
  • Be actively involved in the preparation, design, realization, deployment, and support of customers’ implementation, upgrade/migration, and roll-out projects.
  • Conduct customer workshops to understand business process requirements, demonstrate the ability to plan, run, and manage relevant meetings with internal and external clients, providing a creative source of ideas/solutions to address customer issues.
  • Configure customer requirements in customer’s SAP system, prepare functional specifications and support development teams.
  • Conduct testing, training, and support during key project cycles of SAP projects.
  • Support services sales activities acting as Subject Matter Expert, validating project efforts, writing and revising key premises and exclusions, and supporting solution reviews and risk reviews of bid processes of SAP project proposals.
  • Execution of innovation portfolio serving as primary contact from Customer Services & Delivery areas to deploy and implement solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Strong combined industry and SAP logistics consulting experience and/or experience in at least 4 full SAP E2E implementations, or similar, working as SAP business process consultant.
  • Knowledge on SAP S/4HANA in one logistics module, MM or SD, with good understanding of technical integration of S/4HANA with other solutions, as well as general understanding of ABAP development language.
  • Expertise or good understanding of handling master data in S/4HANA, with knowledge and experience in SAP Business Partners and in Customer-Vendor Integration, for supporting S/4HANA conversion projects.
  • Proficient in at least one of the following Industry/LoB solutions: Retail solutions (such as CAR, Merchandise Planning, Assortment Planning); CPG Solutions (such as SAP SDD), SAP solutions used in Utilities and subscription-based businesses (such SAP BRIM), Oil & Gas Solutions (such as CTRM, HPM, TSW and CPE), Agribusiness solutions (such as SAP ACM).
  • Knowledge in Brazil Localization processes (such as NFe and tax declarations for Brazil) and the SAP DRC solution for Brazil, and for other Latin American countries as a plus.
  • Experience in working with SAP FIORI applications.
  • Strong communicator at multiple levels of the organization with strong and clear verbal and written communications.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage challenging client situations.
  • Proactivity, leadership, ability to influence customer’s decisions and to provide reassurance to key stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the AGILE project methodology and experience in a project using such methodology.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Physics, or similar.
