What you’ll build

You will play a key role as a core contributor within the Head of Engineering Processes & Solutions team in SAP's Corporate Processes & IT (CPIT) organisation. As a Project Manager (f/m/d), you will manage and shape high-priority, cross-functional AI initiatives and cross-projects sponsored by various areas. In this dynamic environment, you will be responsible for designing and launching these strategic and transformational projects, ensuring they progress seamlessly through all phases. To guarantee end-to-end accountability and accelerate execution, you will continue to drive and support these initiatives throughout the transformation journey.

Main responsibilities

  • Hands-on project delivery: Design, implement, and monitor several project workstreams to achieve defined objectives.
  • Escalation management and issue resolution: Quickly address unexpected challenges, remove roadblocks, and ensure continuity of execution.
  • Proactive stakeholder engagement: Manage expectations and foster collaboration by building and maintaining a strong operational network across all involved roles.
  • Execution: Translate strategic goals into practical steps and oversee their implementation throughout the transformation phase.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders: Providing clear insights and pragmatic solutions that enable fast decision-making and execution.

What you bring

  • Excellent knowledge of German and English is required (fluency spoken and written)
  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree or equivalent ideally in Business Administration, Economics, (Computer) Science or Engineering
  • Strong understanding of SAP’s AI strategy and Product Engineering
  • Deep insights into value realization and calculation frameworks, particularly regarding AI-driven productivity gains for organizations
  • Ability to conduct sophisticated qualitative and quantitative analyses across a broad range of topics and formulate strategic recommendations
  • Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical abilities
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively at C-/Executive-level
  • Effective written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills – for executive audiences
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint) required
  • Result-driven, persistence, self-motivation, and willingness to work under pressure
  • Being able to handle multiple strategic and complex topics in a structured manner, effectively prioritizing and delivering on time
  • Proven ability to work in an international environment
