What You’ll Build

SAP’s Globalization Product Management (GPM) proactively manages the globalization of SAP’s product offerings in alignment with the overall company strategy. We enable SAP’s customers to run global solutions that meet their local and country-specific needs.

As a Senior Product Manager - Globalization (AI Focus), you will:

• Act as a co-product owner for globalization cloud quality and product standards, ensuring SAP solutions support efficient global operations, mitigate risks, and enable up-selling and cross-selling within existing customer landscapes.

• Define and maintain globalization cloud quality and product standard requirements, covering both technical aspects (such as internationalization features including Unicode, code pages, input/display methods, printing, calendar, and time zone support) and non-technical aspects (such as localization and translation) to support product release strategies and ensure SAP products are accessible and flexible for business users worldwide.

• Conduct product standards assessments for globalization for selected development programs.

• Serve as an internationalization expert, consulting with development teams across the SAP product portfolio on both functional and technical aspects to enable the successful adaptation of SAP products for use in various countries and regions.

• Advise on internationalization topics including calendars, currencies, countries and regions, and right-to-left (RTL) language support, ensuring SAP software can be easily and cost-effectively adapted for diverse global markets.

• Work closely with regional teams to address localization issues and ensure cultural appropriateness.

• Identify AI-driven opportunities for innovation and efficiency.

What You Bring

• Deep understanding of software globalization challenges, including adapting products to meet diverse legal, cultural, and linguistic requirements and ensuring regional compliance and cultural appropriateness across global markets.

• Expertise in internationalization (i18n) technologies, including calendar systems, time zones, country/regions, and more required to support SAP products globally.

• Proactive embrace of AI technologies, integrating them into daily workflows to enhance quality, accelerate delivery, and continuously identify new opportunities for innovation and efficiency.

• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a multicultural environment across time zones, with a focus on customer needs.

• Professional Degree in computer business, science, engineering, or a related field of study.

• More than 7 years of professional experience in a software/consulting/business environment.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
