What You’ll Do

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager focused on Intake Management to join our product management organization and execute on SAP’s intake/workflow orchestration vision. In this role, you'll partner with cross-functional teams—including UX, engineering, platform, and field services—to evolve the strategy, prioritize the roadmap, and deliver an AI-first Intake Management solution to win the market. While this is not a hands-on coding role, you’ll need strong technical fluency to bridge engineering, customers, and the larger SAP ecosystem.

Your focus will include working with your fellow Intake Management Product Managers to shape the future of the product, drive adoption of early customers, and defining how SAP’s Intake product will seamlessly integrate with other products in both the SAP ecosystem and non-SAP ecosystems. You’ll work closely with engineering and platform teams to manage integrations, roadmap dependencies, and deliver of capabilities that serve both procurement and enterprise goals—aligning product strategy with evolving market demands and technical feasibility. You’ll also work across the company with key internal partners to ensure alignment and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth discovery to understand customer problems, market trends, and competitive landscape.

  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for Intake Management, collaborating with engineers, UX designers, and platform teams to deliver high-quality analytics experiences.

  • Define and monitor KPIs and metrics and use that data to inform roadmap adjustments and product strategy.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products are optimized for growth, aligned with customer needs, uniquely differentiated, and effectively positioned for Go-To-Market success.

  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to communicate the product vision, its customer value, and future impact to customers, partners, and analysts.

What You Bring:

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • 4+ years of experience in customer-facing product management

  • Experience building SaaS applications in a the enterprise software space.

  • Experience in building AI-first capabilities and making data-driven product decisions.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience translating technical vision into business outcomes.

  • Strong customer management skills

  • A strong ownership bias and willingness to jump into areas with great levels of ambiguity and drive clarity and progress forward

  • Strategic, systems-level thinker with a bias toward action and clarity.

  • Strong sense of ownership, even when something is not part of your direct responsibility.

  • Collaborative and comfortable working across distributed global teams.

  • Effective communicator. Able to influence and align with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Comfortable operating in fast-moving environments with evolving priorities and complex technology stacks.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 133700 - 227500(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
