What you’ll build:

Reporting and supporting the MD for Lab East Asia, the requirement is to have a responsible hands on person who will be responsible for supporting the MD to operationalize the growth of Labs East Asia and provide executive assistance support to the MD. A committed individual, this person will need to liaise between multiple stakeholders from HR, Finance, Facilities, Legal, IT and other teams, ensuring the smooth alignment between the different stakeholders within SAP at the execution level. Externally, this person will need to support the negotiation and discussions with external parties, aligning on a variety of topic. In Vietnam, this person will work with the team to support the smooth execution of employee related events at SAP Labs Vietnam.

What you bring:

  • Supporting the overall activities of the MD, providing onsite and remote administration services to the MD
  • Strategy: Support the preparation and execution of strategy for all locations in East Asia (Japan, Korea, Singapore & Vietnam)
  • Reporting: On time consolidation and preparation of Operations/Project status, Scope changes, Project overview, Resource allocation and availability, Milestones, Projections, and coordinating management meetings across Singapore, Vietnam, Korea and Japan
  • Travel and administration tasks as required for the MD’s office, and liaise with appointed travel agents by location on travel changes, updates etc.
  • Able to communicate efficiently on behalf of MD’s office to internal, External Customers, Suppliers
  • Key Issue Management and Tracking: Assessment, logging, monitoring and follow throughs
  • Compliance with organizational standards (Audit, Security, etc.)
  • Ensuring consistency with corporate strategy, consistency of process across projects
  • Support the operations of Labs Vietnam in executing services for the service catalogue and employee engagement activities
  • Coordinate meeting schedule and follow up with other stakeholders across SAP. Developing collaborative work relationships within own team and cross-functional teams
  • Hands on attitude and can do mindset is a must.
  • Some knowledge about the local operational regulatory environment, able to provide inputs to the MD and global teams on how to navigate complex topics around the regulatory environment
  • Ambassador for SAP in the local market

  • Communicates relevant messages in a timely manner and with constructive feedback to cross functional colleagues & managers
  • Able to resolve conflict and progress key initiatives

Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies

  • More than 7 years as an executive assistant and operations to a top tier MD/CEO/Chairman of an international MNC. This position has a preferred candidate.
  • Experience in top tier Executive Administration and operational roles – > 3 years preferably in a European / US based MNC
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex topics in a matrixed global organization - Able to work in an international environment with a diverse workforce
  • Task management and business skills in managing key with tight deadlines, without compromising the quality
  • Familiar with processes and standards in multinational organizations
  • High employee and customer orientation and focus a must
  • Excellent English language skills (both spoken and written)
  • Bachelors degree as pre-requisite, Masters preferred
  • Excellent skills in Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and able to use AI effectively to increase productivity and efficiently
  • Open minded behavior, excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Team player, able to work well with the SAP Labs Network team in East Asia.
  • Driven, creative and enthusiastic individual committed to growing the location and making the office a “lighthouse” for employees
