(Senior/Expert) Product Marketing Specialist (m/f/d) - SAP Business Network Supplier

Job Description

We help the world run better
At SAP, we enable you to bring out your best. Our company culture is focused on collaboration and a shared passion to help the world run better. How? We focus every day on building the foundation for tomorrow and creating a workplace that embraces differences, values flexibility, and is aligned to our purpose-driven and future-focused work. We offer a highly collaborative, caring team environment with a strong focus on learning and development, recognition for your individual contributions, and a variety of benefit options for you to choose from.

This new product marketing role will be responsible for creating a product led growth experience for suppliers on the SAP Business Network. This will be focused on highlighting the key value propositions of the network and creating the correct journeys to entice suppliers to sign up for a free account. Work will be focused on high volume, low touch digital journeys and demand generation campaigns. The role will report to the head of product marketing for SAP Business Network suppliers. This role will work closely with product management, global communications, sales, field marketing, and partner marketing. If you are passionate about working on tough problems and looking for a role that will enable you to develop into a product marketing leader, this role is made for you.

Location Requirement: This role is open to candidates with a hybrid work arrangement of up to 3 days in the office required. Candidates must be within commuting distance of one of our offices in Berlin, Potsdam, Walldorf, St. Leon Rot, Dresden, Munich (Garching) and Hamburg. Please ensure you meet this location requirement before applying. SAP supports relocation for this position and will assist successful candidates with the moving process.

What you'll do

  • Customer Journey: Work with stakeholders across Product Marketing, Integrated Marketing, and Product Management to create a customer journey that drives awareness, thought leadership, and adoption of SAP Business Network for Suppliers.
  • Content: Create compelling product messaging and content that is used for web strategy and customer-facing assets such as presentations, whitepapers, and eBooks.
  • Project Management: Be the glue that brings together multiple stakeholders across Sales, Product Management, and Communications to ensure that key deliverables are finalized on time and have input from main subject matter experts—including yourself.
  • Product-led-growth: This role will own the freemium offer for SAP Business Network. A supplier that signs up for a standard account can conduct “all the basics”, and SAP wants to highlight the features and benefits associated with paid offerings.

What you bring

  • Fundamental understanding of two sided or multi-sided networks
  • Expertise in product marketing for freemium products in a B2C environment

  • Experience working in eCommerce
  • Natural desire to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and colleagues
  • Team player mindset with a desire “to win”
  • A balanced analytical, creative, and innovative thinker
  • Strong communication skills: verbal, written, digital, and interpersonal
  • Proficient presentation and social media content designer
  • Bold public speaker - both in-person and virtual
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a small organization that has to be creative and nimble to get things done
