S/4HANA Finance is a central piece of SAP’s flagship product and lies at the core of our vision of the Intelligent Enterprise, which brings together machine and human intelligence across all business functions to deliver value to our customers. S/4HANA Finance is built, in the first place, as a cloud product with quarterly release cycles and is also shipped as an On-Premise version. Line of Business (LoB) Finance is a global development organization responsible for delivering this next generation Finance solution and works closely together with partners and customers to enable superior future-proof business models and finance processes. Within LoB Finance the Group Reporting unit is developing a solution used by large globally active corporations to create consolidated financial results and to publish group related information to the stock market, management and investors. Our development teams are based in Paris, Shanghai, Brno and Walldorf. The Group Reporting solution comprises application parts residing within S/4HANA as well as components built on SAP Cloud Platform. Currently we’re seeking a Senior Developer to further strengthen one of our Brno scrum teams working in the S/4HANA environment applying agile software engineering practices.
What you'll do:
As Senior Developer in Group Reporting you will contribute to our Group Reporting
solution by taking over tasks such as:
- Concepts, designs, implementation, test / test automation and maintenance of comprehensive and complex product features, working closely together with the product manager, architect and teams in other locations
- Analyze and resolve complex issues identified during tests, upgrades or customer projects
- Spearhead quality and performance improvements and adoption of new technical concepts
- Build broad and deep functional, technical and business process knowledge in selected complex areas of the Group Reporting solution. Act as trusted advisor providing expertise to team members, product managers, management and other stakeholders.
- Continuously expand and demonstrate leadership in technical, functional and product knowledgein the domain of Group Reporting
What you bring:
- 7+ years of professional programming experience
- 4+ years of experience in ABAP or HANA development
- Excellent ABAP development skills, including HANA, CDS, and integration technologies
- Experience with agile software engineering
- Practical experience with unit testing, refactoring and performance optimization
- Quick learning, outstanding analytical and complex problem-solving skills
- Fluency (written & spoken) in English
Preferred skills
- Domain knowledge in financial reporting, accounting or consolidation
- Experience with SAP accounting or consolidation solutions
- Fiori and UI development skills
- Experience with DPP and Security is a plus
- Knowledge about SSCUI
- Master / bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, business administration or related fiel
