PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

SAP SCM solutions have achieved a leading market position and are used by more than 2,500 customers worldwide. We are aiming to innovate the SCM product portfolio through Integrated Business Planning and S/4HANA.

SAP Integrated Business Planning (SAP IBP) is a cloud solution that enables companies to react quickly to customer demands and expectations and helps them handle changes and shortages in the supply chain by generating a short to mid-term supply plan, based on prioritized and categorized demand such as orders and forecasts. The development and maintenance of SAP Integrated Business Planning is fueled by various customer engagements and the collaboration between several teams in different locations. Teamwork and collaboration with others are part of your daily business. We are a full stack team using Agile Software Engineering methods.

You will be a member of an inspired team focusing on Sales and Operations Planning in IBP. The main technology used is ABAP, but we also use SQL Script, OData and Fiori UI. Changing technologies and system environments require your flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Feature Development: Design, implement, and test new features for IBP Sales and Operations planning
  • Automated Testing: Develop new automated tests and enhance existing ones to ensure software quality
  • Code Ownership
  • Code Maintenance: Maintain, refactor, and improve the existing codebase
  • Customer Support: Resolve complex customer cases to enhance user satisfaction
  • Quality Improvement: Execute functional tests, resolve internal incidents and ensure automated tests pass to improve quality KPIs
  • Constantly improve the team’s common knowledge-base by improving internal documentation/wiki, providing guidance and mentoring to junior colleagues

What we expect:

  • University degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming and strong technical skills
  • Excellent English language skills written and oral
  • Solid ABAP skills
  • Experience with the following technologies and concepts is considered as an advantage: SQL Script, OData 2.0/4.0, Fiori
  • Knowledge of SAP development tools is an advantage
  • Enthusiastic team player with strong communication skills and a results-driven attitude
  • Proactive and creative problem-solving with a positive, open-minded attitude
  • Customer and service-oriented with a strong focus on quality
  • Business knowledge in Supply Chain Management might be beneficial
