Job Description

We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

Role Overview

As the Customer Solutions & Adoption Data Insights Specialist, you are the analytical engine of the SAP Concur Product Success organization. In this role, you act as a vital data partner to the team members running critical programs with Customers and Partners. Leveraging your deep product expertise, you translate complex data environments into actionable insights that accelerate adoption and guide strategic decision-making. You are adept at cleansing data, writing advanced queries, and building dynamic dashboards that empower internal stakeholders and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Mastery: Ability to source, clean, and blend data from multiple systems to build a reliable single source of truth, automating quality checks along the way to ensure our reporting and dashboards are always accurate and actionable.
  • Visualization & Storytelling: Build and maintain sophisticated, intuitive dashboards for the Product Success team and internal leadership to monitor program health and adoption KPIs.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Act as a key consultant for Product Success, translating business questions into technical requirements and delivering clear, evidence-based recommendations.
  • Customer-Facing Impact: Join customer-facing engagements when necessary to present usage insights, demonstrate value, and help clients optimize their journey with our products.
  • Actionable Intelligence: Identify "friction points" in the user journey and provide the Product Success teams with data-backed strategies to improve retention and expansion.
  • Office Presence: Collaboration with Product & Engineering teams based in this location, to showcase available insights and understand requirements for new reporting needs.

Qualifications & Skills

  • BI & Visualization: Advanced experience with tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to create high-impact, "executive-ready" dashboards, with a keen eye for UX and clarity in design.
  • Data Architecture: A solid understanding of modern data stacks, including cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift) and ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Data Manipulation: Proficient in SQL and Python / R for querying, modelling, and automating insights, transforming messy multisource data into clean, analysis ready datasets.
  • Product-Minded: A natural curiosity for how users interact with software and a drive to improve the customer experience through data.
  • Educational Background: Degree in Data Analysis, Comp Sci, Engineering, Math, Business or equivalent experience. SAP Concur, Concur data models, SAP ecosystem integrations or other SAP offering knowledge would be a plus.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills: Ability to rapidly build trust, credibility, and influence across cross-functional teams, enabling effective collaboration and alignment around shared goals.
  • Self-starter with strong sense of ownership: able to independently drive workstreams from concept to completion with minimal direction.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity: Ability to remain decisive and solution‑oriented when faced with uncertainty, ensuring continuous progress and high‑quality outcomes.
  • Strong communication & story telling Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex analysis into actional, executive-level insights.
  • Project management/Prioritization Skills: Strong project management utilization skills; able to manage multiple concurrent analysis and deadlines.
  • Data storytelling/UX for insights: Demonstrated ability to apply data storytelling and UX principles to maximize the clarity and usability of insights.
  • Stakeholder influence: Ability to partner with Product Managers and others to influence decision-makers and drive adoption of insights across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Business acumen: Strong understanding of SaaS customer lifecycle metrics (adoption, retention, expansion) and how they impact business health.

Why Join Us?

  • Be at the forefront of cloud and data innovation at SAP Concur.
