Job Description

We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

What You’ll Build

The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship; it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact.

Position title: SAP TS Private Cloud iXp Intern - ERP Customer Engagement

Location: São Leopoldo, Brazil

  • You will support the Customer Engagement Lead in executing the TS Customer Engagement program by taking ownership of recurring operational tasks, maintaining clear records of engagements, and turning raw data into consumable insights.
  • Your work will let senior team members focus on strategic actions while ensuring customer interactions, get-well plans, and post-mortems are meticulously tracked and reported.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the engagement tracker and central repository for all get-well plans, post-mortems, action items, and escalation records.
  • Produce and refresh dashboards and regular reports (ServiceNow / SAP Analytics Cloud/ / Data Analyzer / Excel) that show Customer Effort trends, escalation counts (CIM/CIC), SLA penalty claims, churn signals, and progress vs. get-well plans.
  • Standardize and format customer analysis deliverables and templates (customer summaries, post-mortem templates, action-log templates) so they are presentation-ready for Front Office and account teams.
  • Execute basic data pulls and data quality checks from internal systems; prepare input files for deeper analysis by the Customer Engagement Lead or analysts.
  • Support proactive outreach lists by helping identify customers flagged as at-risk using provided criteria and automation rules.
  • Assist in preparing materials for customer events and internal stakeholder meetings; coordinate calendar invites and logistics for engagement activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by proposing ways to streamline reporting, automation, and template usability.

Business impact

  • Ensure timely, accurate, and consumable reporting that drives faster decision-making and better customer outcomes.
  • Reduce lead time for escalation follow-ups and increase the capacity of senior team members to focus on high-impact remediation.
  • Improve visibility of engagement progress across Solution Areas and help demonstrate measurable Customer Effort improvements.

Team environment and mentorship

  • You’ll work directly with the Customer Engagement Lead, Product Family Heads and closely with Customer Engagement Advisors, MCC/Account Teams, TQMs, and Front Office colleagues.
  • Regular 1:1 mentoring and weekly check-ins with your manager; access to subject-matter experts for training on SAP support processes, reporting standards, and stakeholder communication.
  • Exposure to cross-functional meetings and the opportunity to observe or help prepare materials for Quarterly Business Reviews and customer engagements.

Learning opportunities

  • Hands-on experience building business dashboards and stakeholder-ready reports (ServiceNow / SAP Analytics Cloud/ / Data Analyzer / Excel).
  • Practical training in customer engagement processes, escalation management, get-well plan execution, and post-mortem analysis.
  • Improve professional communication skills—preparing internal and customer-facing summaries and action trackers.
  • Exposure to SAP Support landscape, cross-team collaboration (Development, Product Management, MCC), and how systemic issues are identified and treated.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

  • Currently enrolled in a university program (Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related).
  • Strong proficiency in Excel;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English; professional-level communication preferred.
  • High attention to detail, reliable follow-through, and strong organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working with structured data, doing routine data quality checks and preparing clean deliverables.
  • Collaborative mindset, adaptable to feedback, and respectful of cultural diversity in global teams.

Nice-to-have

  • Basic SQL or scripting experience (Python, R, or similar) for data pulls/automation.
  • Previous internship or project experience in customer support, operations, or analytics.
  • Familiarity with SAP systems or enterprise support processes.
