With the creation of a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Federal Australian Agencies we’re building a high-performance team to guide major agencies through the how of ERP migration — with proven strategy, expert delivery, and scalable, lasting impact.

Initially, an 18-month transformation program, this high-profile, strategic initiative will be the successful candidate’s initial assignment, before transitioning into the broader Customer Success and Delivery area to extend the best practices and knowledge gained there.

About the Role:

  • Consulting in functional solution architecture. (Determine solution landscape, functional integration among various SAP and SF areas)

  • On need basis, consulting in application specific solution like SF Employee Central (creation of business case, conducting process walkthrough, implementation of solution, creation of test cases, test scheduling and execution, key user training, go live support, and post go live support)

  • Performance of feasibility studies / solution reviews

  • Support in escalated projects

  • Support of pre-sales activities/ scoping/ system demo

  • Supporting customers where renewal is at risk

  • Detailed planning of solution/ architecture implementation

  • Define detailed design for development requirements

  • Support in Project Management

  • Knowledge of HR theory and trends across multiple processes (e.g. Talent Management, Hire to Retire)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support sales and services sales team to build business case, qualify business drivers

  • Support Sales and services teams to estimate Rough Orders of Magnitude

  • Engage early in SAP SuccessFactors opportunities and assess customer’s functional and technical readiness to move to SF and the Cloud

  • Support scoping workshops and emphasise customer side readiness activities

  • Validate effort estimates and high level implementation timelines

  • Provide support with scoping requirements

  • Follow SAP Activate Methodology and project streams to implement projects

  • Provide instance strategy, integration strategy, data migration strategy, production cutover strategy and post go live support strategy etc.

  • Work collaboratively with consultants to manage project deliverables

  • Coordinate with module leads and provide best/leading practices and guidance on cross module process and data integration

  • Participate in weekly project manager meetings (internal) and weekly consulting delivery meetings

  • Maintain knowledge of SAP HCM and SAP SuccessFactors product-suite, including reviewing the periodic release updates

  • Lead small projects and change requests.

  • Ensure customer is referenceable, work with broader SAP teams to create collateral (e.g. success stories, references, videos, quotes etc) and customer details are available in Customer Reference Platform

Experience:

  • More than Six (6+) years consulting experience including solution architecture covering SAP HCM (including Time and Payroll) and SuccessFactors (including Employee Central).

  • Sufficient HR domain knowledge related to the products for discussions with HR leaders

  • Ability to share knowledge and work with process leads in most collaborative manner.

  • Ability to guide customers from SAP On-premise HCM to SAP SuccessFactors cloud transition

  • Ability to review existing processes then give accurate estimation and scoping for new SAP SuccessFactors implementation / migrations

  • Experience with at least three (3) full cycle implementation preferred

  • Good understanding of SAP Activate methodology

  • Good knowledge of MS Project and other project management tools

Education and Qualifications:

  • University degree or equivalent work experience

  • English: Fluent. Knowledge of additional language is desirable.

  • Formal SAP certification in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.

  • Education qualification in HR domain will be additional advantage.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise deliverables
