Position title: SAP SPE Hyperscaler Capacity Management iXp Intern (f/m/d)–Business Analyst
Location: Walldorf, Eschborn, Garching
Internship duration: minimum 6 months
What you build
Project scope and deliverables: The mission of the SPE Capacity Management team is to enable transparent decision-making in the area of hyperscaler infrastructure planning and capacity management to ensure a resilient SAP multi-cloud infrastructure. We collaborate with Hyperscalers and SAP Cloud LoBs to turn innovation into opportunity by building and leading SAP’s strategic partner ecosystem.
In this role, you will work closely with SAP cloud solution areas and hyperscaler partners to support the SPE Capacity Management team in ensuring the availability of critical resources, improving planning cycles, strengthening governance and transparency, and delivering insightful reporting for the key stakeholders.
- Support the development of infrastructure planning solutions, reports, and processes for new cloud platforms and technologies
- Own and drive monitoring and data quality management
- Capture, prioritize, and advocate for SAP LoB capacity requirements
- Work on the roadmap for Hyperscaler features, data assets, and reports
Business impact: The role focuses on supporting strategic initiatives within SAP’s partner ecosystem and multicloud landscape, fostering direct engagement with hyperscaler partners and key stakeholders across SAP Cloud LoBs to drive alignment, innovation, and operational excellence.
Team environment and collaboration: The team operates in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment, working closely with SAP Cloud Lines of Business, Partner Management, and the hyperscaler partners, including Google Cloud, AWS, and Microsoft Azure, to drive alignment, innovation, and the successful execution of key initiatives.
Learning opportunities: This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop a strong understanding of hyperscaler offerings, SAP’s infrastructure strategy, and the key processes that support the delivery and scalability of SAP cloud services.
What You’ll Bring

- Educational requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a comparable discipline (final year of studies preferred)
- Experience level and background
- A background in consulting and/or the technology industry would be beneficial
- Experience with and willingness to dive deeper on cloud infrastructure, AI and other technology topics (AWS, GCP, MS Azure) is a plus
- Technical skills/nice-to-have
- Strategic thinking and the ability to solve complex problems with an analytical approach
- Experience using Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Python to analyze data, identify trends, and automate reporting tasks
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini, or Microsoft Copilot) to support research, data analysis, and reporting
- Cloud Fundamentals (e.g. GCP,AWS,MS Azure) and/or project management certifications are a plus
- Soft skills will thrive in this team/role
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Very strong motivation
- Language requirements: English
- Working from Walldorf/Munich/Garching/Eschborn office is required at least 2-3 days a week
