What you'll build

As the Enterprise Platform Advisor for SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Business Technology Platform and AI (f/m/d), you will serve as the primary point of contact for all solution- or product-related inquiries within solution and industry sales teams across the MEE (Middle and Eastern Europe) region. You will leverage deep expertise in data management, platform, and analytics to support the entire sales cycle, from opportunity identification to post-sale success, and help customers expand their footprint to maximize value.
You will anchor customers’ transformation on BTP/BDC/AI, connecting platform capabilities with concrete business outcomes. From the outset, you bring business stakeholders and IT together and define KPIs to track quantifiable impact across Lines of Business

  • Solution expertise: Provide deep data & analytics expertise with standard and tailored demonstrations that showcase value and tie each demo to clear, outcome-oriented use cases.
  • Customer engagement & vision selling: Conduct architecture engagements to assess the current state, co-create the platform and data strategy with CIOs and senior IT leaders, and outline the transition to a modern, cloud-based data & analytics platform; continue to sell the vision of SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Business Technology Platform and AI to drive long-term success and renewals.
  • Account strategy & qualification: Partner with account teams to refine strategy, identify opportunities, and assess qualification criteria and investment paths.
  • Enablement & differentiation: Lead customer events and deliver persuasive narratives that establish competitive differentiation, acting as a forward-looking advisor to strategic accounts with innovative perspectives.
  • Implementation readiness & transition: Orchestrate a smooth handover to Services/partners and maintain tight alignment between sales and delivery.
  • Operational excellence: Scale adoption of BTP/BDC/AI with security, compliance, and reliability built in; establish guardrails and operating principles to sustain value realization.
  • Architecture guidance: Navigate multi-cloud and heterogeneous SAP/non-SAP estates and guide design decisions for interoperability, resilience, and governance.
  • Content development & digital enablement: Use digital assets, demos, presentations, and tools, throughout engagements to amplify messaging and ensure a high-quality customer experience.

What you bring

  • Extensive experience in data management and analytics: Background in large software/IT organizations; several years of relevant SAP experience across modern cloud architectures and on-prem systems such as SAP BW.
  • Technical and industry knowledge: Expertise in Cloud, Hosted Services, SaaS/PaaS, and AI in B2B contexts.
  • Recognized specialist: Trusted advisor in data management, platform, analytics, and AI with a track record of measurable customer impact.
  • Customer-focused approach: Ability to quickly understand business goals, craft compelling storylines, and position solutions that align with outcomes.
  • Communication excellence: Full working proficiency in German and Business English; confident executive presence. Additional languages are a plus.

Preferred / Nice to have skills

  • Service Integration and Management (SIAM): Hands-on experience in SIAM multi-provider environments (governance, processes, roles/RACI, SLAs/OLAs) and integrating platform capabilities across providers.
  • Operational Data Provisioning (ODP) in SAP landscapes: Understanding of extraction/replication (e.g., S/4HANA → BW/4HANA), ODP extractors/CDS views, and alignment with data governance and compliance.
  • ODP in SIAM setups: Align ODP-based data flows with SIAM models (end-to-end ownership, runbooks, monitoring, incident/problem/change) to ensure reliable, auditable movement across SAP and non-SAP services.
  • Hybrid data architecture awareness: Familiarity with mixed SAP/non-SAP and multi-cloud environments where BTP/BDC/AI services, BW/4HANA, and operational systems interoperate under SIAM governance.
  • Operational excellence for data pipelines: Experience defining KPIs for freshness, quality, and resilience; designing provider hand-offs; ensuring observability and alerting.
