This Position is available for all SAP Germany locations

What you'll build:

  • You will use all our Process Analytics and Mining solutions, mostly Signavio Process Intelligence
  • You are driving large scale and complex SAP Signavio Projects with focus on technical and business value outcome of the project. In particular, you
    • are managing several internal and external consultants (partners)
    • advice the client on technical to-be architecture.
    • guide clients throughout their value journey from value identification to value realization.
    • consult on implementation methodology via the entire SAP Signavio toolchain.
    • act as a quality assurance gate and provide guiding reviews.
    • support project governance by leading steering committees and driving key decisions to handle smooth project execution.
  • You will oversee partner-led implementations and act as a trusted advisor for our partners and clients.
  • You will support, create and provide service effort estimations for upcoming engagements.
  • You will work with and improve our process mining concepts and other process analytics techniques to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • You have the chance to work closely on improving and expanding our services portfolio.
  • You will work closely with our clients to understand their challenges, business processes and improvement scenarios.
  • You will take ownership of leading cross-functional initiatives to enhance collaboration and alignment between different departments at SAP Signavio.
  • You will analyse technical requirements, providing expertise on possible solutions and implementing & deploying those solutions.
  • You will design and lead tailored process analysis scenarios to evaluate process behaviours and performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • You will work closely together with and provide valuable feedback to our product and engineering teams by acting as the voice of our customers & partners.
  • You will be working closely with your consulting teammates on product, content and methodologies.
  • You act as an active leader and team player to help develop and grow SAP Signavio and our Process Intelligence team.


What you bring:

  • You have and show at least 8 years of relevant work experience on analysing and improving business processes, preferrable directly in process mining. Several years of consulting experience in similar role.
  • Solid understanding of process management concepts, BPM technology, etc. and familiarity with process modelling standards, ideally BPMN 2.0 and profound knowledge in the area of process management & improvement.
  • Experienced in leading thorough assessments of client business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and value creation using process mining tools and techniques.
  • Expertise in deriving actionable plans to realize identified value, ensuring that strategic goals are met and performance is optimized.
  • In-depth knowledge of key customer processes such as Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Invoice-to-Cash, Invoice-to-Pay, Plan-to-Produce, and Issue-to-Resolution, along with a solid understanding of their potential areas for improvement.
  • You show experience with process mining tools (e.g. SAP Signavio, Celonis, Fluxicon, ARIS Process Performance Manager, QPR, etc.) or BI (e.g. Microsoft PowerBI)
  • You have expertise working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft, Oracle), including data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
  • You have deep technical expertise, particularly in SQL for data transformation and analytics, alongside a robust understanding of database technologies, ETL processes.
  • Experience in working with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and SAP Datasphere is preferred.
  • Knowledge in programming languages used in data science, e.g. Python/R, is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proven track record of thought leadership in the field of process mining or related disciplines (e.g. blog posts, whitepaper, presentations).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Preferably previous team lead responsibilities
  • Self-motivated, you show initiative and enjoy being part of a great team in an international organization
  • Team player by contributing, learning and sharing new knowledge and ideas.
  • You are fluent in German and English.
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 50%)
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related.
