SAP NS2 Support Intern – Analytics & Data, oCOO Data Management

SAP NS2 is seeking an Analytics & Data Support Intern to support internal analytics, KPI reporting, and data-driven insights for oCOO Data Management team.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

This role aligns to the Support Engineer profile and focuses on analytics enablement, accurate reporting, documentation, support activities, and continuous learning. The position is a support internship and provides exposure to enterprise analytics platforms, data integration concepts, and KPI frameworks used across SAP NS2.

PROFILE

Support Interns are foundational members of the oCOO organization. Individuals in this role are developing technical and functional knowledge of SAP analytics solutions while learning how support organizations deliver reliable, repeatable, and high-quality outcomes for our customers, internal and external.

This role emphasizes analytical thinking, structured problem solving, documentation, and collaboration, with responsibilities tailored to analytics and data support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Analytics Support

  • Support internal analytics and KPI establishment and reporting, primarily for support teams and leadership audiences
  • Assist in building, maintaining, and validating reports and dashboards in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
  • Help ensure consistency, accuracy, and repeatability of analytics outputs
  • Support data collection, preparation, and presentation using Data Visualizations. Source systems include S/4HANA and ServiceNow

Proactive Support and Innovation Activities

  • Create and maintain internal documentation related to analytics, KPIs, and reporting processes
  • Support testing of analytics and reporting solutions in lower environments to prevent recurring issues
  • Assist with identifying data gaps, anomalies, or inconsistencies and escalating appropriately
  • Contribute to initiatives that improve analytics usability, quality, and operational efficiency

Continuous Learning Culture

  • Actively participate in SAP training, enablement sessions, and internal knowledge sharing
  • Build foundational knowledge of SAP analytics platforms and enterprise data concepts
  • Stay current on new functionality, reporting enhancements, and process updates
  • Take on new tasks and projects, as assigned to expand technical and functional skills

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology, Business, Analytics, Data, or related field preferred

Experience

  • Exposure to analytics or reporting tools (SAC, Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
  • Basic proficiency in SQL
  • Interest in analytics, data, and how business performance is measured

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot reporting or data-related issues
  • Curiosity about business processes and performance metrics
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a support environment
  • Willingness to learn enterprise-scale systems and processes
  • Preferred Skills:
    • SAP-specific knowledge like S/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, or BW
    • More advanced proficiency in additional programming and analytical tools (e.g. Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake, Databricks, BigQueries, Redshift, QuickSight, Looker, Qlik)

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 15 - 62 (USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
