What You’ll Build

Position title: SAP Mexico Next Gen – Quality Management Technical Writer

Location: Monterrey, México

Expected Start: January 2026*

Duration: 24 Months

Global Cloud Infrastructure & Delivery (GCID) develops and delivers services for cloud infrastructure and cloud operations to SAP Lines of Business (LoBs) and through them, to our external customers. GCID governs and delivers all of SAP’s cloud infrastructure services across hyperscalers and SAP data centers for the entire portfolio of solutions. Our GCID Quality Management (QM) team is a global team responsible for delivering end-to-end high-quality Root Cause Analyses of Major Incidents across platforms and technology stacks. Utilizing detailed analytics, we drive operational improvements and optimization to support GCID and SAP goals. We serve as an interface between Cloud Infrastructure units, SAP’s Cloud Business LoBs, and other delivery units to increase effectiveness and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of business and technical expertise and be open to new challenges and topics. The candidate will have renowned team player skills, strong strategic thinking capabilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and a track record of driving results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Internal Root Cause Analysis (IRCA): A key focus of this role will be writing comprehensive Internal Root Cause Analysis (IRCA) documents for all major cases. This critical responsibility involves thoroughly investigating significant issues, identifying underlying causes, and documenting findings to prevent recurrence and drive process improvements. Your work in this area will be pivotal in enhancing the response to major cases within GCID.
  • Customer Root Cause Analysis (CRCA): Another critical deliverable for the team is the Customer RCA, an external-facing document that presents technical findings of cloud incident root cause investigations in a customer-friendly and business language-ready format.
  • Learn Global Team Strategy and Operations: Immerse yourself in the intricacies of global team strategy and operations within GCID. Gain a deep understanding of how the team functions on a global scale, contributing to your professional development and broadening your strategic perspective.
  • Expand Network and Increase Visibility: Actively engage with colleagues and stakeholders within GCID and the broader Customer Services & Delivery (CS&D) organizations. Proactively seek opportunities to expand your professional network, fostering collaboration, and enhancing your visibility within these key departments.

What You’ll Bring

Required:

  • Recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, Information Technology, or similar fields.
  • Passionate about writing user documentation based on technical documentation.
  • Highly capable in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Experience in translating complex information, and/or data for analysis into easily digestible stories.
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver time-sensitive communications to internal stakeholders.
  • Fluent and confident in English skills (oral and written).
  • Comfortable working in an environment where you need to ask questions and answers need to be discovered.
  • Self-driven with a desire to think creatively and the ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to learn.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and enterprise software applications. (incident outages, infrastructure problems)
  • Experience working as a user assistant/technical writer in integrated communications or in a similar role.
