What you’ll do

Position Title: SAP Mexico Intern – Solution Support

Location: Monterrey, Mexico

Schedule: 30 Hours/Week

Expected Start Date: July 2025

A Solution Support Intern will work independently (within defined policies and processes) and building a collaborative work relationship with cross-functional teams within SAP.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Utilize and improve state of the art collaboration channels like swarming, communities etc.
  • Contribute to the Team KPIs Require competence with various tools, procedures, programming languages used to accomplish the job.
  • Develop technical skills like reading code / debugging / creation of small corrections where applicable.
  • Test internal systems to prevent future issues on customer's systems.
  • Deliver core customer support Handle customer issues in team environments (swarming) and individual-driven actions (incident solving or real-time support), in cooperation with experienced support engineers if necessary while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Take ownership of customer support cases in different channels.
  • Provide end users and customers with a technology driven, industry-leading support experience.
  • Become an active KCS Knowledge contributor - Create knowledge documents, tools and processes to support our customers, and to help colleagues prevent future issues (WIKI content, Knowledge Base Articles, Guided Answers.
  • Conduct Knowledge Transfer - Proactive Support and Incident Prevention Activities.
  • Stay curious and open to new experiences, while learning through daily tasks and targeted trainings.
  • Be actively on the forefront of industry technical and functional knowledge.
  • Actively support SAPs Support transformation strategy.
  • Contribute to innovation projects aimed at achieving our Vision and Goals and act as a Change Leader in the achievement of those projects.

What you bring

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful, innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

  • Education Requirement: Currently enrolled in an academic/university program.
  • Language Requirement: English (Verbal & Written, ideally B2 & Above), Spanish (Fluent), Portuguese (Bonus, but not required).
  • Solid communication skills
  • Technically proficient in at least one expert area.
  • Demonstrates ability to receive open and honest feedback.
  • Works independently.
  • Positive team influence.
  • Understands the Product Support Strategy.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Good Technical consulting, analysis or troubleshooting skills.
  • Project management skills.
  • Ability to address and manage through ambiguous situations - assess situations, problem solve and make decisions.
  • Programming knowledge in SQL ( Python, Java, JavaScript, Groovy skills is desirable).
  • Knowledge with technical file manipulation (e.g. txt, csv and macro enabled files) is desirable.
  • Knowledge with XML, JSON and/or API is desirable.
  • Drive to learn, develop yourself and growth.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 0 - 0(MXN) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
