What You’ll Build

The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship, it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact.

Position title: SAP iXp Intern - Production Planning Support

Location: São Leopoldo, RS [hybrid position, 3 days per week working from the office]

We are looking for an intern who is driven by a desire to provide our customers with outstanding customer service. The key responsibility is to assist our customers in resolving issues related to the implementation, deployment, functionality, and usage of SAP Products.

  • Help customers implement and operate their solutions effectively efficiently by providing state-of-the-art support services.
  • Analyze and resolve reported cases using our knowledge databases and/or verifying customizing entries.
  • Root Cause Analysis of reported cases.
  • Creation and maintenance of knowledge documentation.
  • Collaborate on global projects focused on improving support processes, infrastructure, and quality
  • Report program errors to Development.
  • Provide consulting for customers on procedural issues and queries.
  • Participate in queue screening and in queue management at least once a week (flexible: 4–8 PM or 5–9 PM during Summertime in Europe)

  • Undergraduate students in Information Technology, Computer Science, Production Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to communicate technical topics clearly to users (oral and written).
  • Team player with a proactive mindset and willingness to learn in a collaborative, international environment.
  • Advanced English
  • Ability to manage priorities in a structured way.
  • Basic analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Basic understanding or academic exposure to Material Requirements Planning (MRP) concepts such as BOMs, demand planning, lead times, and inventory management.
  • Spanish proficiency.
  • Familiarity with Business Software (comparable solutions) and/or Business Processes is a plus.
  • Previous experience with customer support and/or ticketing tool is an advantage but not mandatory.

The PLM & MAN team is part of the Private Cloud ERP Solution organization, the key organization behind SAP’s core products, supporting SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA On‑Premise, and SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition. The team provides technical support across product lifecycle and manufacturing domains, handling customer cases with a combination of technical expertise and business‑process knowledge.

The MRP (Material Requirements Planning) module is responsible for handling cases for planning problems across the complete material planning lifecycle. This includes analysis and resolution of cases related to planning runs, demand and supply balancing, lead times, lot sizing, exception messages, and material availability.
