About the team
The Data, Assets & Campaigns team within Corporate MEE enables high-impact, scalable customer experiences across the customer journey. We partner closely with the Customer Value Group, Sales Development, and Business Development to design and execute demand generation programs across all solution areas, with a strong focus on net-new and prospect engagement (particularly in DACH).
Operating in a flexible hybrid model, we combine remote work with in-office collaboration in Barcelona to accelerate innovation and teamwork.

What you’ll do:
- Position title: SAP iXp Intern – Digital Campaign Intelligence & Support
- Location: Barcelona, Spain
- Expected start date to end date: September 01, 2026 – February 28, 2027
In this role, you’ll:
- Support Digital Campaign Managers (DCMs) in planning and executing demand generation campaigns, with a focus on net-new and prospect initiatives in DACH, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Collaborate with Sales Development teams to align on target segments, messaging, content, and campaign handover.
- Build and maintain target account and contact lists, including segmentation, data cleansing, and de-duplication.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze key metrics, and provide actionable insights and recommendations (what worked, what to try next).
- Turn stakeholder questions into small, actionable reporting tasks; keep requests organized and prioritized.
- Leverage AI/LLM tools to accelerate analysis and generate simple content drafts (e.g., outreach messaging) in collaboration with DCMs.
- Communicate effectively, manage time efficiently, and collaborate within a hybrid work environment.
Who you are:
We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
- Currently enrolled student (Bachelor’s or Master’s student) eligible to work as a student in Spain for the duration of the internship.
- Able to sign a tri-party internship agreement with SAP via your university (mandatory under Spanish law)
- Studying Business Administration, Management, Sales, Marketing, Data/Process Management, IT/Digital Transformation, or a related field
- Ready for a full-time, 6-month placement (39.5 hours per week)
- Fluent in English; German is a strong advantage due to the DACH focus.
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data visualization.
- Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud or Power BI) is a plus.
- Comfortable using AI/LLM tools to enhance productivity and explore new ways of working.
- Basic understanding of data analysis and marketing or sales funnels.
- Experience with outreach or campaign tools (e.g., Outreach, Dripify) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, proactive mindset, and team-oriented approach, with the ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
