POSITION SUMMARY

The FI-CA/BRIM Business Processes Solution Architect focuses and facilitates the implementation and support of the SAP FI-CA and BRIM solutions to enhance the clients’ business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction. In addition, the consultant will partner with the client to analyze and define business requirements, processes and objectives to scope project and deliverables for the same. The consultant will be able to lead fit-to-standard workshops, drive SAP’s clean core methodology, and test solutions on client systems and develop client-specific enhancements to meet business requirements as needed; as well as assisting clients in achieving their Digital Transformation vision and Best-Run Business capability from their SAP and other IT investments. This is a key leadership role, requiring deep knowledge and understanding of SAP technical & functional capabilities as well as business processes and industry best practices. The consultant provides comprehensive advice to our customers on long-term (Big Picture) and short-term (Quick-win) perspectives on their key strategic imperatives and recommends innovations which anticipate the future directions of both business and IT stakeholders. Excellent facilitation and communication skills are essential as is engaging with executive stakeholders, partners and SAP account teams.

  • Help our customers understand how SAP fits into their roadmap/digital transformation journey and what functionality should be leveraged to meet their business requirements.
  • Provide our customers key insight and direction related to industry trends, best practices, clean core, and world-class solutions.
  • Deep product expertise/business experience in S/4HANA with specific focus on implementing/configuring SAP FI-CA and BRIM.
  • Ability to provide thought leadership and resolve complex issues in escalated projects.
  • Performance of feasibility studies, process design reviews and pre-sales support.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

You will define industry typical business processes and map customer processes to the related process levels. Furthermore, you will design the architecture based on process requirements, application, and system landscape. Finally, you will develop high-level roadmaps in conjunction with team members including the project manager.

Must have:

  • 10+ years SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ERP consulting experience, preferably in in Financial – Contract Accounting (FI-CA) and BRIM with at least 2 end-to-end implementations.
  • Financial – Contract Accounting expertise should include: collection strategies, payment arrangements, General Ledger integration, payments, and electronic bank statements.
  • Ability to articulate SAP quote to cash solutions (BRIM specifically CI/FICA, SD and FI-AR) strategies to C-level executives.
  • Other SAP competencies should include: Invoicing, Budget Billing, Integration for Miscellaneous Billing, Convergent Invoicing, Sales/Distribution, Batch Cycle Monitoring, and Front Office support.
  • Experience working with the Business Rules Framework (BRF) and BRF+.
  • Knowledge of integration touchpoints across the SAP product suite.
  • Assist clients in achieving their Digital Transformation journey by leveraging S4HANA and helping define their strategic roadmaps.
  • Facilitate collaborative architecture discussions with our customer, IT and business executives including the development of strategic roadmaps.
  • Provide our customers key insight and direction related to industry trends, best practices, clean core, and world-class solutions.
  • Strong leadership skills - able to lead customer engagements at an executive level.
  • Ability to provide thought leadership and resolve complex issues in escalated projects.
  • Performance of feasibility studies, process design reviews and pre-sales support.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
  • Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that establishes rapport, persuades others, and establishes understanding for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Has been in a team lead role on a major project and has provided mentoring/leadership to others.
  • Bachelor’s Degree – Master’s degree preferred but not required.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 151900 - 258300(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
