SAP Business AI Partner Engagement Expert, EMEA
Career level: T4
Location: Dubai
Role Summary
Partners are SAP's primary engine for landing the Autonomous Enterprise at scale in the Corporate segment, and this role is the hands-on owner of that mission for VARs across EMEA. You will build partner AI practices from the ground up, run the programs that accelerate them, and own the business results. This is a builder role: commercial, programmatic, and partner-facing.
Key Responsibilities
AI Business – Indirect Corporate Segment (EMEA)
Owns AI business development and results for the Indirect Corporate segment across EMEA, including ECHO (corporate AI soft-bundle initiative). Turns Autonomous Enterprise GTM motions -- Joule, Joule Agents, the Autonomous Suite, and the Business AI Platform -- into executable VAR plays, joint campaigns, and a tracked pipeline. Works through EDM, Seller PM, PDM, P-CSM, and PxC to drive AI attach and convert deployments into consumption.
Key metrics: indirect AI pipeline, indirect ACV bookings, indirect cACV, # of active Joule customers and active Agent customers – Corporate segment, EMEA.
VAR AI Engagement (all VARs including GVARs -- EMEA)
Single SAP point of contact for Business AI with all VARs across EMEA. Drives the AI relationship end-to-end: pipeline, deal support, adoption, enablement, escalations, and C-level engagement. Aligns with the global Business AI Ecosystem team and regional EDM community. Leads VAR and GVAR AI reference creation.
Partner AI Practice Development
Works directly with VAR partners to build AI practices -- not just to sell AI, but to become AI companies. That means helping partners design their AI offerings, understand the economics of an AI practice (consumption models, recurring revenue, margin), and transform how they deliver and operate. Use and adapt SAP's Volume Business Workshop programme and AI planning tools to run those conversations. Coaches partners on becoming AI-first: how they serve customers, run their businesses, and compete in an agent-led market.
EMEA Channel Development
Owns and runs four programmes:
EMEA Focus Partner Program -- design, program execution, investment, governance, and results
Regional GTM Accelerator -- partner-built AI solutions from intake to market
AI Adoption Fund -- regional execution for VAR, Corporate, and channel cases (intake, tracking, reporting) in close coordination with the PES EMEA AI Lead
Internal Partner AI Hub -- content strategy, curation, and adoption across partner-facing teams
Also runs EMEA PES AI SPOC community cadence in close collaboration with the PES EMEA AI Lead and serves as AI counterpart to the Partner Excellence Center on channel enablement initiatives.
Experience & Requirements
10+ years in the software industry; 5+ years in partner-facing roles (Sales, Business Development, or Solution Advisory)
Proven track record building or scaling partner practices in AI, cloud, or SaaS
Hands-on with AI tools -- copilots, agents, automation platforms; uses them daily
Ability to translate AI capability into business value conversations at the C-level
Strong commercial acumen: comfortable having AI economics discussions with partner leadership
Experience running regional programmes in a matrix environment without direct authority
Change agent mindset: experience introducing AI-native ways of working into partner engagements or team workflows
Confident external presence: represents SAP credibly at partner forums and contributes to partner-facing content
Experience with SAP Business AI, Joule, BTP, BDC or the SAP partner ecosystem is a strong advantage
Excellent communication skills; high energy; resilient under ambiguity across a large geography
Bachelor's degree required; MBA an advantage. Business-level English required
