What You'll Do

We are seeking a visionary SAP AI Architect to spearhead the design, development, and deployment of transformative AI-driven solutions within our SAP ecosystem. This role combines deep SAP technology expertise with modern AI frameworks, the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) to architect scalable AI solutions that enable intelligent automation, embed AI-powered decision-making into business processes, and deliver measurable business value while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and data governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect Enterprise AI Solutions: Design and implement robust, scalable AI/ML solutions leveraging SAP technologies including Generative AI Hub, BTP, AI Core, Joule, Integration Suite to drive innovation and automation across complex enterprise landscapes. Establish architectural best practices for governance, scalability, security, and operational excellence while developing reference architectures for advanced AI patterns such as RAG, multi-agent orchestration, and hybrid AI scenarios.
• Lead AI Strategy & Implementation: Lead and partner with stakeholders to define AI strategies, conduct discovery workshops, and translate business requirements into enterprise-grade AI solutions that enhance processes and accelerate data-driven decision making with an end-to end approach from sales support to delivery stages.
• Thought Leadership & Visionary Mindset: Stay current on SAP Business AI portfolio, SAP BTP and emerging agentic AI capabilities while contributing to grow the AI skills across teams by creating assets, knowledge sharing and mentoring.

What You Bring

• Proven experience with SAP Business AI, BTP services, SAP Build, AI Core, Joule, AI Launchpad and hands-on knowledge of ML (machine learning) frameworks.
• Hands-on expertise in Cloud Application Programming Model and RESTful ABAP Programming Model, and strong programming expertise in Python, Java, Node.js, or similar languages.
• Strong foundation in SAP BTP security, ensuring compliant, secure, and high-performing applications.
• Advanced expertise in Generative AI architectures, prompt engineering, LLM-driven solution design, and experience implementing MLOps/LLMOps pipelines with model lifecycle governance.
• Strong background in SAP technologies, cloud deployment models, and the ability to design APIs, microservices, and integrations that ensure seamless interoperability across SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Familiar with Agentic AI architecture, A2A, and MCP technologies.
• Highly recommended to have SAP Business Data Cloud experience.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field and 10 years of expertise in various applicable technical roles.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 151900 - 258300(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
