What you`ll do

We are seeking a highly skilled, collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented S/4HANA Frontend (Senior) Developer / User Researcher (f/m/d) with extensive knowledge of SAP Fiori frontend technologies. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a strong interest in user research and a commitment to advancing SAP’s sustainability objectives.

As part of the SAP Product Compliance Development team, you will:

  • Drive innovations together with our customers in the area of Product Compliance and Sustainability
  • Plan and conduct user research sessions including on-site workshops with our customers
  • Contribute actively to the entire product lifecycle: from backlog definition and specification to development, testing, delivery, and maintenance
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliverables in a timely and reliable manner
  • Work in a dynamic, agile setup with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across teams, as well as with customers and partners
  • Drive continuous improvement of development methodologies and tools

What you bring

  • University degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Several years of professional experience in software development with focus on user interfaces and dialogs
  • Interest in researching and understanding end-user processes and requirements
  • Strong skills in creating, discussing, and validating UI mockups collaboratively with our customers.
  • Excellent programming skills in object-oriented languages (e.g. Java, ABAP OO) and web technologies (e.g. JavaScript)
  • Development experience with SAPs frontend technologies Fiori, Fiori Elements and SAP UI5
  • Good understanding of SAPs development frameworks (e.g. RAP, CDS)
  • Comfortable working in agile development setups and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
