We are now hiring a Regional Solution Lead for Success Plans with a strong Premium Engagement background for EMEA ONE.

What you bring

  • The ideal candidate for the solutioning lead role should have a background in solutioning and project management. This could mean having extensive experience in Premium Engagements as a Technical Quality Manager or Backoffice lead.
  • You should have extensive hands-on experience in SAP Premium Engagement service planning (3+ years), with a strong understanding of the SAP business suite across multiple industry sectors.
  • Knowledge of SAP Premium Engagements is required, and familiarity with SAP Success Plans and/or SAP Preferred Success services is an advantage
  • Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology, Enterprise Architecture Methodology, and SAP tools such as SAP Signavio and Readiness Check would be advantageous.
  • Fluency in English is a must. Experience in the EMEA region or knowledge of languages such as Spanish, Portuguese Turkish, French or Dutch would also be advantageous.

What you’ll build

As a Solution Lead in the EMEA ONE Solutioning Center, you will:

  • Be a main contact for clients to understand their business context, IT infrastructure, and business and technical needs and how these fit into our new portfolio.
  • Organize and oversee the development of service plans based on entitlements and premium services from the Success Plans
  • Advise and guide stakeholders during the sales cycle on best approach and best fit of the Success Plans in line with SAP Business Rules.
  • Collaborate closely with the solutioning team, bid manager, project manager, and MU stakeholders.
  • Represent the Solutioning Center in customer or Market Unit meetings.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Success Plan solutioning:

  • Coordinating and overseeing the entire solutioning process, including the planning and approach
  • Design of the service plan (Max Success Plan) for effort estimation with consultation of subject matter experts where required and providing any supporting documentation necessary
  • A solutioning lead, first focus on understanding the customer, the current environment, existing artifacts and complexity of the requirements to draft the right technical and functional scope to build the relevant service plan.
  • Making sure the proposed solution aligns with SAP's innovation strategy, such as clean core and business AI.
  • Conducting workshops with the customer to define processes and agree on the services proposed.
  • Ensuring the overall service proposal is consistent, and that effort estimations and timelines are complete.
  • Reporting progress and status of the solutioning engagement to the Market Unit Bid Manager and Solutioning Center.

Improving capabilities

  • Continuous upskilling on new SAP solutions
  • Continuous upskilling on new methods and tools (Success Plan transition simulator, Max Success Plan quick estimators and engagement sizer…)
  • Take ownership of one or more internal improvement projects

The Solutioning Center's lead for Success Plans (formally Premium Engagement) is involved in effort estimates and engagement transitioning for Net New customers and/or current SAP customers by positioning our new Success Plan portfolio.
