Job Title: Product Marketing Expert - SAP Business Data Cloud

What you’ll build:

Join our dynamic Technical Product Marketing team as the chief evangelist for SAP Business Data Cloud. This pivotal role blends strategic thinking with a deep understanding of customer buying decisions – impacting SAP's presence in the cloud data market. The role is evenly split between external evangelism and technical storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Positioning and Messaging: Develop unique value propositions tailored to buyer personas. Lead marketing efforts and guide sales execution to enhance customer engagement and drive solution adoption. Translate strategic messaging into technically credible narratives that resonate with architects, engineers, and data practitioners.
  • Strategy Development & Insights: Bring practitioner and customer insights into SAP’s product and go-to-market strategy for SAP Business Data Cloud. Partner with product and business leaders to refine positioning and then translate the strategy into clear messaging, content, and programs that support evaluation, design, and implementation.
  • Solution Delivery and Go To Market: Oversee the strategy and delivery of high-quality offerings from a product marketing perspective. Manage go-to-market plans and direction in close collaboration with product, sales, and ecosystem teams. Drive the creation of practitioner-focused assets such as reference architectures, implementation patterns, and technical demos that accelerate successful adoption.
  • Customer, Community & Evangelism: Serve as an evangelist at industry events, customer round tables, and executive briefings. Represent SAP Business Data Cloud in the market, delivering compelling presentations that connect business value with technical depth. Engage actively with technical audiences to build trust, advocacy, and feedback loops.
  • Technical Content & Practitioner Enablement: Own and contribute to high-impact technical content for SAP’s Data professional community, including blogs, deep dives demos, and hands-on guidance. Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and solution engineering to ensure technical accuracy and relevance. Enable practitioners with actionable content that supports how they design, build, and optimize SAP Business Data Cloud.

What you bring

  • 10+ years in product marketing, product management, solution advisory, or solution sales roles with proven success.
  • Expert knowledge of cloud data solutions, with the ability to confidently engage both executive stakeholders and hands-on practitioners.
  • Proven experience presenting at industry events, customer engagements, or executive briefings, with a track record of translating complex technical topics into compelling narratives.
  • Demonstrated ability to create or guide the development of practitioner-focused content (e.g., reference architectures, technical blogs, demos, or workshops).
  • Strong collaboration skills; able to work effectively across product, engineering, and go-to-market teams.
  • Proactive growth mindset, open to new ideas and methodologies.
