PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVE

Application Foundation is looking for a Product Manager to further the mission of Harmonization of the Technology and Application Landscape. As a Product Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping the experience of developers internally and externally managing the development of AI use cases from conception to delivery together with several product teams, while ensuring alignment with company objectives. You will work closely with development and other central teams to ensure that our products meet the needs of our customers and align with our company goals. As a leader, you will represent and be accountable for the work of your teams to internal and external stakeholders to plan, prioritize, clearly define outcomes and measure results to iterate on. You will work together with the development leads, product owners, product managers, and development operations colleagues in your team and other teams to create value for our customers from start to finish.


Your tasks include:

  • Build successful partnerships with BTP Component Teams, LoB Leads Lines of Business (such as Concur, Ariba S/4HANA Cloud, SFSF etc) product teams & the wider PM community to jointly shape the AppFND portfolio, harmonization of technology, roadmap and narrative for adoption
  • Support use case prioritization, staffing, commitments, and continuous overview of the development progress of new capabilities.
  • Conduct thorough business value analysis, collect feedback, and shape the product roadmap proactively.
  • Ensure quality standards are met for all functionality, including strong business value propositions, high quality product demos and proper evangelism
  • Pitch our App Foundation portfolio and product deep dives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Deliver executive-ready communication to senior leadership roles.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Experience - 11 to 14 years
  • Platform product management experinace a plus.
  • Demonstrated outstanding experience in product management of enterprise software products and ability to build and maintain successful partnerships, fostering a sense of community among diverse stakeholders
  • Strong advocate and experience for Agile development processes
  • Portfolio of shipped successful products to the market, measured by NPS, CSAT or metrics alike.
  • Previous experience with business applications like S/4HANA Cloud, public & private edition and SAP’s Digital Supply Chain solutions is highly desirable but not required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to getting the job done.
  • Outstanding leadership skills, including a track record of delivering C-level presentations
  • Passion for good user experience from buy to renew.
  • Experience and passion for measuring adoption and defining success KPIs a
  • Fluent English language skills, spoken and written.
