PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

We are looking for passionate employees (f/m/d) for the SAP Premium Hub - Center of Expertise (CoE), who work with us to shape the continuous technical progress and digital transformation of the largest SAP customers. Our team focuses on planning transformations and securing implementation projects of the SAP Procurement product family (SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, SAP BTP, SAP Fieldglass)

The CoE has the goal and mission to ensure optimal performance, availability and smooth operation of SAP software as well as to optimize technical and business processes by delivering services to SAP premium customers. We provide a broad range of service offerings to cover design, planning, implementation, operations, upgrades, and continuous improvement. It is our aim to have a trusted advisor relationship with the customer.

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

As CoE Business Processes Consultant (f/m/d) for Procurement you are required to deliver high-value engagements with customers on functional and technical areas.

In your new role it is expected that you:

  • support our customers on their transformation to SAP S/4HANA / Intelligent Enterprise.
  • analyze highly complex business processes with focus on procurement. This includes root cause analysis and optimization of these processes in heterogenous system landscapes.
  • deliver remote and onsite services together with experts from our or other CoEs with focus on system optimization, conceptual planning as well as empowering the customers with newest best practice knowledge.
  • continuously develop your functional and technical skills in S/4HANA and/or SAP Ariba to be able to provide industry knowledge and contribute to the development of Services for new products/components.
  • Provide knowledge transfer within the team.

The constantly changing customer situations require high degree of flexibility and individual approach to each new customer. However, this is also what makes our job so appealing.
Regular travel to the extent of approx. 10-20% is required.

YOUR PROFILE

Mandatory skills and qualifications that you bring are:

  • Minimum of 4 years of delivering services, projects or support for SAP Procurement solutions (SAP ERP Material Management, SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement, SAP Ariba and ISBN) with functional knowledge on customizing, setup, and configuration.
  • Strong end-to-end business process know-how with product knowledge in S/4HANA Procure-to-Pay/Source-to-Pay, SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass.
  • Strong analytical skills for solving complex problems; good root cause analysis and debugging capabilities with technical and programming skills (e.g. Java, C++, ABAP).
  • Technical expertise in SAP systems and integration architecture including good understanding and expertise in ABAP, HANA Database.
  • Experienced in interacting with C-level sponsors.
  • Business fluency in written and spoken English; proficiency in German is a significant advantage.

Additional preferred qualifications and competencies are:

  • University degree in computer science, business engineering/administration or related field
  • Experience with new technologies such as Cloud Solutions, Business Technology Platform, IoT, AI, big data and blockchain will be a plus
  • Committed to continuous learning and staying current with solution advancements

You will work in a highly motivated and international team consisting of both young and experienced colleagues. Our team consists of experts who are enthusiastic about technology and logistics processes and analyze functional and technical design for our customers along the entire project life cycle. Our goal is to help customers get the most out of your SAP applications, to efficiently realize transformation and implementation projects by providing support with specialist expertise as a trusted contact person.

The position can be filled as part time position.
