What you'll build
As we are in the midst of a transformation and support SAPs AI-Strategy within the Strategy & Operations (S&O) board area, field activation and communications is more important than ever to motivate and enable the teams, but also to position the right messages in the market.
We are looking for a driven and experienced communications professional (f/m/d) who can build, execute, and evaluate a holistic and integrated communication plan for internal and external audiences across our topics and priorities. The role will act as a strategic project expert and communications advisor to the Regional CMO Marketing MEE and her leadership team.
Field Activation Strategy:
- Set themes and focus areas for an MEE Field Marketing communications plan, together with Regional CMO and Chief of Staff
- Plan activities that ensure the focus topics are effectively positioned in a balanced way across our main audiences:
- MEE Field Marketing employees
- Marketing Leadership teams
- Sales and business stakeholders
- External audiences
Field Activation and Employee Communication:
- Set communication goals around strategic priorities and people program with SVP and Chief of Staff
- Plan and execute communication activities to MEE Marketing employees, such as:
- All-Employee Meetings
- Leadership sessions
- E-Mail and newsletters
- Video productions
- Podcasts, Interviews, On-Stage Presentations, Panels etc.
- Evaluate and analyze results to improve effectiveness
- Execute Field activation to increase employee engagement and make clear how everyone contributes to overall strategy

Executive Communication for Regional Chief Marketing Officer:
- Build communication plan based on goals of MEE Field Marketing SVP
- Execute external and internal communication activities, such as
- Preparing external presentations, keynotes, panels, councils, interviews, podcasts
- Manage social media accounts and activities, especially on LinkedIn
- Prepare internal presentations
- Evaluate and analyze results to improve effectiveness
What you bring
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in corporate communication positions, working directly with senior executives
- Excellent communication skills, ideally a background in PR
- Solid understanding of modern Marketing
- Experienced in state-of-the-art communication practices, tools and platforms (video, social media etc.)
- Creative profile with a can-do attitude
- Team player with the ability to collaborate and influence at all levels in the company
- Well versed with MS Office suite (ppt, excel, Teams etc)
- Video editing/production skills and experience with producing podcasts
- Analytical mindset and data driven approach
- Experience from Sales or Sales related roles a plus
- Excellent German and English language skills

As MEE Field Marketing Executive and Employee Communications lead you will be part of the MEE Field Marketing Office reporting directly into the Regional Chief Marketing Officer at SAP. The MEE Marketing team is responsible for all marketing activities for the entire product portfolio across all customer segments in arounf 30 countries. Always linked to the goal of positioning SAP as the #1 enterprise application company, increasing willingness to buy, generating demand, and implementing measures to increase usage and loyalty. The MEE Field Marketing Office supports the MEE leadership team and their teams to actively drive SAP’s Marketing efforts.
