Job Description

We are seeking ambitious Consultants to support the rapidly expanding SAP Platform business in SAP Japan. This position is situated within the Japan SAP BTP solution area, focusing on technology topics such as database, integration, platform development, and AI. The new team will encompass the entire BTP services portfolio in Professional Services for SAP Japan. Our objective is to assist our customers on their journey to the BTP. Our mission is to facilitate digital transformation by bridging the gap between business and technology, delivering end-to-end technology services throughout the entire customer lifecycle.

What you’ll be do:

  • Serve as an SAP BTP Technology specialist focusing on SAP BTP Integration and BTP Extension & Application Development Solutions.
  • Support customers and partners in key BTP projects to become an AI driven enterprise
  • Hands on customer implementations and platform development
  • Help customers with onboarding and adoption of their BTP use cases
  • Leverage the SAP BTP to deliver and build innovations for our customers
  • Understand and apply how AI will help customers and partners to drive business impact
  • Advise customers and partners on key BTP related topics in one of the following areas: Integration, platform development, database or AI
  • Innovate new business models with the focus on Japanese customers and develop use cases on the BTP with a focus on AI
  • Collaborate with the global SAP BTP solution area to adopt the latest solutions and innovation locally

What you bring:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent (ideally in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration or related fields of study with a technical focus)
  • 10+ years in SAP implementation hands-on experience
  • Track record of successfully delivering and leading customer projects with SAP BTP
  • Extensive understanding of SAP overall strategy and the role of BTP as part of the strategy
  • Experience in one of the SAP topics around platform development, Integration, database, extensibility or AI
  • Experience in working together with Sales and pre-sales to support adoption and consumption of SAP solutions
  • International mind set
  • Result orientation
  • Mindset of a team player
  • Japanese fluence & business English (fluent written and spoken)
  • Capability of strategic acting and thinking
  • Proven ability to work with customers on project- and senior management level
