What you’ll do

One of SAP’s strategic customers has initiated a transformation program, part of which is to consume their SAP landscape of 130 systems as enhanced private cloud model provided by SAP on RISE. To ensure the best level of service, a dedicated team has been set up within SAP Enterprise Cloud Services to work for this strategic client. The goal of this team is to operate the entire customer SAP landscape and drive innovation adoption.

As an IT Architecture Senior Specialist, you are responsible to:

  • play a key role in our customers move to the cloud, where a stability, a secure environment and downtime minimized operations are the measure of success
  • consult with the customer assisting them to articulate their outcome based requirements - this includes technical architecture and it's supporting processes
  • collaborate with internal partners to identify relevant standard solutions that would be available for rapid deployment
  • where required, innovate (architect, design, build, test) a customer specific solution, this includes the technical application or infrastructure stack and services

What you bring

Technical

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management.
  • Expert level BASIS and HANA experience (10+ years of experience).
  • Good knowledge of SUSE and hyperscalers including tools and processes (4+ years - preferably with Pacemaker experience).
  • Able to take technical requirements, analysis these, identify existing solutions or architect new (2+ years of experience).
  • Solid know-how of SAP Technologies and Products (SAP certification highly beneficial) .
  • Problem solving skills, including incident resolution, RCA.

Soft skills

  • Excellent documentation skills including creating comprehensive and organized documentation, including standards and procedures.
  • Strong communicator: Articulate technical details effectively to non-technical individuals using clear and concise language.
  • Customer-focused: Thrive in high-pressure situations and maintain a strong focus on delivering exceptional service to customers.

Work experience

  • 10 years working in IT.
  • Strong operations background, with recent architecture experience.
  • Working in customer-facing roles,
