SAP Enterprise Cloud Services supports customers throughout their Cloud transformation and plays an important role in achieving SAP’s cloud ambition. We run the SAP software product portfolio on the customers’ preferred infrastructure (SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud or Hyperscalers), and with SAP Cloud Application Services at the core, we help customers to accelerate their SAP S/4HANA adoption and transformation.
Three of SAP’s large customers, headquartered in Germany, have started their “RISE with SAP” journey. The first of these customers has now tasked SAP to also move their China business to the Cloud. As part of this transformation, the ~16 productive landscapes must be migrated to 21Vianet/Microsoft Azure, with a potential future move to AliCloud. In parallel to the migration, the customer is also undergoing its SAP S/4HANA transformation to become an Intelligent Enterprise. With your understanding of ECS processes focusing on large customers, you will be contributing to the ECS private Cloud adoption of the customer.
The Role:
As a Client Delivery Manager, you are responsible for building a solid customer relationship, driving end-to-end customer engagement including commercial responsibility, managing overall project/program delivery according to planned scope, financial plan, and milestones. You act as an ambassador by translating customer needs to our internal technical and operational teams and by explaining technical details to a non-technical audience with our client. You will be expected to collaborate closely with an international, virtual team of Client Delivery Managers.
The role needs a close working relationship with the customer to manage the delivery with strong connections to global and virtual SAP teams.
What you bring :
- Understanding of ECS processes and tools focusing on large customers
- E2E visibility and responsibility for the ECS private cloud adoption of customers
- Excellent understanding of Commit-to-Consume contracts and commercial implications as well as governing principles
- Experience in acting as the end-to-end primary point of contact for non-technical topics for the customer
- Ability to ensure transparency on progress and KPIs/SLAs and providing financial clarity to the customer
- De-Escalation management during critical situations
- Experience in Project Management and Commercial Change Requests
- Customer orientation, focus on quality combined with a high resilience in managing customer expectations, conflicts and complaints while representing SAP
- Fluent written and spoken Chinese and English language skills
- Ability and interest to mentor and guide junior members of the team
Meet your team:
To provide the right level of service and in order to cope with the complexity and the specialties of large customers, a dedicated team has been set up within Enterprise Cloud Services Region MEE to work for three customers only. The goal of this team is to operate the entire customer SAP landscape and drive innovation adoption
