What you'll do

SAP GDH Data&AI is a group that provides SAP consulting service to SAP customers. This group serves customers worldwide via tight cooperation with other local SAP consulting teams.


Within this group, analytics consultants work with project managers, businesses owners, analyst teams and clients, building reports/dashboards and implement predictive algorithms, as well as ETL processes, data warehouses, database prototypes, to deliver the customer requirements. They also document code, provide progress reports, perform code review and peer feedback.


Analytic consultants job duties include developing reports, analytic applications, SQL databases and integrating various business applications.

  • Perform the role of a Consultant on projects (SAP Business Data Cloud project delivery)
  • Actively involved in the preparation, conception, realization and Go-Live of Customer implementations
  • Follow Manager's guidance and perform required actions in the areas of self-development and utilization
  • Act as a trusted advisor/technical architect to the customer
  • Deliver project trainings, conduct customer workshops and support presales / bid management
  • Ready to travel for assignments within MEE (up to 30% of working time)

What you bring

Analytics

  • Creating analytics solutions/reports
  • database modeling
  • predictive algorithms/ML

Programming (at least one of the below)

  • Programming: C++, C#, Java or other OOP languages
  • Web programming: JSP, EJB, HTML/CSS, PHP, XML, ASP.NET
  • SAP ABAP knowledge is considered a plus

Databases

  • Familiar with one of the following: SAP HANA, Oracle, Sybase, MS-SQL, DB2 or equivalent


Education and qualifications

  • Studies in one of the following disciplines: Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology System, Computer applications
  • Curriculum for SAP BW or SAP HANA consultants is a plus
  • Knowledge in implementing software projects

Foreign languages

  • English fluent
  • German language is considered a plus
