What you`ll build:

• Design and implement end‑to‑end business solutions based on SAP standard products (e.g. SCT, SFM, SDX) in SAP’s internal IT (CPIT)
• Own integration architecture and implementation across SAP and non‑SAP systems, using API‑based, event‑driven and cloud‑native patterns
• Translate business process requirements into scalable solution, data and integration designs
• Act as key contributor in a Center of Excellence (CoE) setup, defining and driving target architecture and guardrails for product usage, integrations and extensions
• Collaborate in co‑delivery models with other IT and product teams, ensuring alignment of responsibilities and solution design
• Support implementation with targeted extensions, automation and AI‑assisted tasks, without owning core product development
• Contribute to SAP as Customer Zero adoption by shaping integration patterns and providing feedback on product capabilities

What you bring:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
• 6+ years of relevant professional experience in application engineering, integration or enterprise IT environments
• Strong experience in integration design in complex SAP landscapes, including SAP‑to‑SAP and SAP‑to‑non‑SAP integrations, API‑ and event‑based patterns, and data‑driven architectures using SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) and data products (inbound/outbound) for integration and automation
• Solid background in application engineering in enterprise IT environments, with hands-on experience implementing SAP standard solutions (configuration, integration and lifecycle)
• Good understanding of cloud architectures, security and non‑functional requirements (e.g. scalability, reliability) and modern engineering practices such as CI/CD
• Ability to balance standard product usage, integrations and selective extensions, following “keep-the-core-clean” principles
• Experience with SAP solutions such as Sustainability Control Tower, Sustainability Footprint Management, Sustainability Data Exchange or comparable domains is a plus
