Position Overview
Candidate must be based in Bellevue, WA.
The Integrated Marketing Senior Specialist - Compete is responsible for activating and reinforcing competitive positioning across marketing channels, with a focus on displacing customers from key competitors. This role ensures differentiated value propositions are consistently represented across digital, content, and sales touchpoints. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role that supports the translation of strategic positioning into integrated marketing activities to strengthen brand perception, reinforce differentiation, and influence buying decisions in competitive sales cycles. It also ensures competitive messaging is deployed consistently, measured programmatically, and reported through a single, consolidated view – acting as the connective hub between Product Marketing, Campaigns, Advertising, Brand Enablement, Digital Marketing, Field Marketing, and Sales.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Positioning & Competitive Messaging Alignment
- Operationalize core brand and competitive positioning across all marketing channels, ensuring consistent articulation of product value, innovation, and customer impact.
- Partner with Product Marketing to translate positioning into scalable marketing activities and credible competitive narratives.
- Partner with content teams to govern competitive messaging, ensuring it remains current, aligned, and effective as the market evolves.
- Maintain visibility into what competitive content exists, where it is deployed, and how it performs across channels.
- Leveraging existing and new testing of competitive messaging, value propositions, and framing to improve clarity and impact.
Competitive Campaign Delivery & Measurement
- Curate content with campaign manager to bring competitive content to life through integrated campaign delivery, partnering with Campaigns team to weave into existing campaign themes, to re-package and spotlight competitive content, and feature relevant updates on Global Campaigns calls.
- Ensure competitive narratives and proof points are activated within Campaigns during planning cycles.
Cross-channel Integration & Activation
- Serve as the central point for competitive marketing content activation and tracking across Integrated Marketing and cross-functional teams.
- Support and coordinate competitive messaging activation and adaption across:
- Website and competitive comparison pages
- Personalized advertising journeys
- Thought leadership and content marketing
- Paid digital channels
- Email and nurture journey
- Sales enablement materials
- Maintain alignment between brand voice and channel-specific execution.
Programmatic Competitive Reporting
- Own programmatic reporting for competitive activities and content across all channels, feeding into a single, consolidated “one report” view.
- Support quarterly competitive performance updates that include recommendations to optimize.
- Partner with Performance Marketing and Campaigns to define:
- Competitive content tagging and taxonomy
- Track competitive content adoption rates from marketing and sales
- Repeatable dashboards
- Leverage and amplify customer insights, industry trends and competitive intelligence (like BlueOcean, Voice of the Buyer, CMI resources) to refine positioning and understand message resonance.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in B2B Saas marketing with exposure to brand or product positioning.
- Experience executing integrated marketing across digital and content channels.
- Strong understanding of competitive landscapes in technology market.
- Ability to translate strategic positioning into practical marketing execution.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret engagement and pipeline influence metrics.
- Must be Bellevue-based

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted annual combined range for this position is 100,000 - 216,000.00 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
