Purpose and Objective:

SAP America, Inc. seeks an HRBP Expert at our Newtown Square, PA location to define and execute HR strategies to meet business objectives.

Expectations and Tasks:

Responsible for influencing and advising on the people strategy of a given business area or geography in alignment with corporate and HR objectives and for leading and managing medium-scale projects. Provide innovative solutions and advice to complex business issues and independently define deliverables & recommendations. Build strategic partnerships with customers. Represent SAP externally (e.g. customer meetings) on specific topics, share in-depth knowledge and experience with others, communicate clear functional requirements & targets and finds common ground for functional cooperation. Partner with our SAP executives to define and implement a Strategic Talent Plan, that supports our business through main portfolio items such as Talent & Workforce Insights, Transformation Management, Team & Organizational Development and Operational Excellence. Assume end-to-end responsibilities for team and organization development activities and strongly consult the business to develop leaders and teams towards desired behaviors and competencies. Enable the business by supporting them in building and sustaining a new desired state of their organization. Independently design relevant plans and initiatives related to Transformation Management, to consult the business to live our purpose and respond in agile manner to changes in the global business environment. Responsible for the initial scoping, set up and delivery of high impact analysis and insights that help leaders take better talent related and business decisions. Provide ad-hoc support for the roll-out of HR programs, initiatives and activities that support the main strategic services.

Education and Occupational Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Human Resources, Psychology, Sociology, Business Administration or a related field of study and seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Employer will accept a combination of education and experience as equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Human Resources, Psychology, Sociology, Business Administration or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:

Experience must include five (5) years involving each of the following:

  • Developing and implementing organizational structures, roles, and processes aligned with strategic goals;

  • Planning and executing strategies to navigate restructurings, including stakeholder engagement, communication strategies, training programs and risk mitigation;

  • Providing HR advisory services to leadership teams in customer facing and product engineering roles;

  • Advising on global HR strategies, workforce planning, talent management, and ensuring alignment with business objectives;

  • Designing and implementing workforce engagement and retention strategies; and

  • Providing HR support during company mergers and acquisitions, including integrating diverse employee groups, aligning benefits and compensation structures, and ensuring compliance with relevant labor regulations.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $191,942 - $278,035. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $192,300 - $327,100. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
