Job Description

We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

About SAP Business Network

At SAP Business Network, we strive to hire amazing people, engage them, and maintain a diverse workforce. Inclusion, collaboration, and respect for the individual are central to our values.

SAP Business Network is the largest B2B commerce and collaboration platform in the world, connecting millions of trading partners across procurement, logistics, asset management, and supply chain ecosystems. We are building the “Network of Intelligent Enterprises” – a unified, open, AI-powered business network that transforms how companies collaborate with their suppliers, logistics providers, contract manufacturers, and asset operators.

The Role

We are seeking an exceptional Head of Product Management for SAP Business Network Asset Collaboration (BNAC) to define and scale SAP’s next-generation asset collaboration platform. This role will own the end-to-end product strategy for BNAC, driving how asset-intensive industries (e.g., energy, utilities, manufacturing, aerospace & defense, chemicals) collaborate across asset lifecycles, partners, and ecosystems.

This is a market-making leadership role, not a feature-factory position. You will shape how SAP Business Network evolves into the leading platform for multi-enterprise asset visibility, collaboration, and intelligence — spanning maintenance, reliability, sustainability, compliance, and asset-centric supply chains.

You will lead a globally distributed team of senior product managers, partner deeply with engineering, design, and go-to-market leaders, and work directly with strategic customers to co-innovate differentiated capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and own the multi-year product vision and roadmap for BNAC, aligned with SAP’s broader Business Network and SCM strategy.
  • Establish BNAC as the market-leading platform for multi-enterprise asset collaboration, spanning asset lifecycle management, maintenance collaboration, sustainability, and regulatory compliance.
  • Translate customer, industry, and ecosystem needs into differentiated, scalable product capabilities.

Product-Led Growth & Business Impact

  • Drive product-led growth by embedding adoption loops, network effects, and expansion paths into the BNAC experience.
  • Own growth metrics including customer adoption, engagement, expansion revenue, retention, and monetization of BNAC capabilities.
  • Partner with sales, marketing, and customer success to create compelling value propositions, packaging, and go-to-market motions.
  • Identify and incubate new revenue streams across asset data services, analytics, sustainability, and partner-enabled ecosystems.

Customer & Ecosystem Leadership

  • Engage directly with strategic customers, industry consortia, and partners to shape requirements, secure design partnerships, and co-innovate.
  • Represent BNAC in executive briefings, customer councils, industry events, and analyst engagements.
  • Drive a strong ecosystem strategy across OEMs, MRO providers, asset operators, and digital solution partners.

Execution & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Lead cross-functional execution across engineering, UX, data, and platform teams in a highly matrixed, global environment.
  • Ensure disciplined delivery of roadmap commitments with high quality, scalability, and security.
  • Establish clear product operating rhythms (OKRs, planning cycles, roadmap governance, prioritization frameworks).

People Leadership & Team Development

  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing global product organization with strong product craft, business acumen, and customer obsession.
  • Set a clear culture of accountability, empowerment, and ownership, with single-threaded leaders for major initiatives.
  • Coach product leaders on strategy, executive communication, and cross-functional influence.
  • Drive performance management, succession planning, and long-term capability building for the BNAC product team.

Market & Innovation Leadership

  • Monitor emerging trends across asset management, Industry 4.0, AI, sustainability, and network platforms.
  • Translate technology innovation (AI, analytics, digital twins, IoT integration) into actionable product opportunities.
  • Maintain a sharp competitive perspective and continuously refine BNAC’s differentiated positioning.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product management experience, including leadership of enterprise or B2B platform products.
  • Deep domain expertise in asset management and asset-intensive industries (e.g., maintenance, reliability, lifecycle management, sustainability, compliance).
  • Proven track record of product-led growth, including driving adoption, monetization, and expansion for platform products.
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling multi-enterprise or network-based products with strong customer and ecosystem adoption.
  • Strong people leadership experience, including leading senior product managers, building teams, and driving performance and career growth.
  • Exceptional executive presence and communication skills; ability to influence without authority in complex matrixed organizations.
  • Experience working directly with strategic customers and partners in co-innovation or design-partner programs.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect product strategy to revenue, retention, and long-term platform value.
  • Highly adaptable, curious, and comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.

Join SAP Business Network and help build the platform that will power the world’s most resilient, intelligent, and sustainable asset ecosystems.
