What you'll do
The Customer Advisory Leader is a key member of the Southeast Asia senior leadership team, responsible for leading industry, solution, and line-of-business subject matter experts who help customers successfully design, launch, and accelerate business transformation initiatives across the region. Working closely with Sales and Customer Success teams, this leader enables customers to realize measurable business value by leveraging SAP’s Customer Value Journey methodology.
In this role, you will champion SAP’s vision and strategic priorities, shape and drive the market unit innovation agenda, and foster a customer-centric engagement model that delivers exceptional experiences and outcomes. You will ensure that customers, partners, and internal stakeholders benefit from a consistent, best-in-class advisory approach that strengthens long-term relationships and supports sustainable growth.
As the leader of Customer Advisory, you will focus with your teams on the following key areas:
Right People in the Room
Deliver compelling thought leadership, strategic storytelling, and end-to-end messaging tailored to each customer’s industry and line of business. Engage and inspire C-suite executives by articulating the transformative potential of partnering with SAP, creating executive alignment and momentum for change.
Clear Vision & Executive Sponsorship
Establish a shared, aspirational vision for business transformation between SAP and the customer. Leverage the Customer Value Journey to align stakeholders around strategic priorities, secure executive sponsorship, and create commitment to exploring transformation opportunities. Successfully answer the question, “Why do anything?” by building a compelling case for change.
Clear Solution
Design future-ready solutions that align to the customer’s business objectives and clearly connect SAP capabilities to measurable business outcomes. Ensure a strong fit to customer requirements while articulating SAP’s unique differentiation, answering the question “Why SAP?” and positioning SAP as the partner of choice for their transformation journey.
Clear Value
Develop strategic, data-driven business cases grounded in quantitative analysis and a deep understanding of the customer’s current operating environment. Demonstrate the financial and operational impact of transformation initiatives, answer the question “Why now?”, and secure stakeholder alignment and investment commitment.
Clear Plan
Partner with SAP Services and the broader partner ecosystem to develop a comprehensive customer success plan that translates vision into execution. Define a clear value realization roadmap, success metrics, adoption strategy, and governance framework to ensure sustainable business outcomes and long-term customer success.
What You Bring
- Proven leadership experience in sales, presales, consulting, or customer success across regional or multi-market environments, ideally in Southeast Asia
- Strong track record of driving disciplined go-to-market execution and delivering sustainable business growth and financial results
- Experience leading business development, presales, and sales organizations
- Accomplished executive with demonstrated success in leading strategic transformation and consultative selling initiatives
- Trusted advisor with the ability to engage and influence senior customer stakeholders
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management capabilities across complex regional and global organizations
- Agile, highly driven, and execution-focused, with a disciplined and results-oriented approach
- Resourceful and resilient leader with a strong bias for action and accountability
- Proven ability to build high-performing teams and foster a culture that attracts, develops, and retains top talent
