Overview

As a senior lead product manager, you will shape the long-term vision and strategy for our Global Benefits solution with a focus on Unites States requirements. You will take a direct ownership in the successful gathering of requirements, identification of product needs, defining a bold product roadmap, orchestrating cross-functional teams, and executing a go-to-market plan that positions our platform for immediate impact and lasting market leadership.

You will build strong partnerships with key stakeholders—across product management, engineering, field operations, marketing, and the partner ecosystem—to ensure market readiness, customer enablement, and reliable delivery. Your leadership will drive accelerated adoption, inspire innovation, and lay the foundation for significant growth, for our Benefits customers as a crucial component of the HCM solution.

What you’ll do

  • This role will be a critical part of the SAP SuccessFactors product management team. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performance product management team focused of growing a new product with focus on adoption and usage.
  • Communicate a compelling product vision, strategy, and detailed roadmap, ensuring alignment with global business and customer requirements.
  • Drive the adoption and usage of our commerce from launch to post-launch activities, collaborating intensively with marketing, field, engineering, and solution partners to maximize launch impact.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key ecosystem players for accelerated innovation, integration, and customer adoption.
  • Build strategic ISV and SI partnership and ecosystem to support the product growth.
  • Collaborate with the GTM team to implement and support go-to-market programs, early adopter initiatives, and success tracking measures that foster product uptake and feedback.
  • Translate evolving market needs, competitive insights, and customer feedback into actionable features and prioritization within the product roadmap.
  • Support rapid prototyping and proof-of-concept cycles to validate new scenarios ahead of full launch.
  • Govern cross-team collaboration, ensuring clear roles, streamlined processes, and fast execution throughout the launch phase and beyond.
  • Represent the product vision in both internal and external forums, providing thought leadership at industry events and executive briefings.
  • Drive a culture of agile development, customer-centricity, and strategic collaboration for global product delivery.
  • Make a contribution towards efficiency, effectively, and process improvement.

What you bring

  • 6+ years of work experience in the software industry, thereof the majority in product management roles
  • 5+ years work experience in a functional benefits role, such as Benefits Manager or Director, with a strong preference for US markets
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Proven track-record of operating within global teams and organizations
  • Product management leadership experience in enterprise SaaS software, with proven success in delivering market-leading cloud solutions, product strategy, roadmap planning, and executing high-impact product launches on a global scale.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams through complex launches and organizational change.
  • Ability to build influential partnerships with diverse stakeholders-internal and external-including engineering, marketing, field, and partner organizations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, translating market and customer signals into actionable product innovation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and business audiences, with a track record of industry thought leadership.
  • Knowledge about SAP's HCM business application portfolio, i.e. SAP SuccessFactors
  • Deep understanding of the product management role and product development processes, being an advocate for product-led growth
  • Ability to work independently on projects with functional ownership and budget responsibility
  • Excellent team player and collaborator across matrix organizations
  • Flexibility to work in an international team with multiple time zones, including flexibility to work with colleagues based in the United States
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with customers, partners and internal teams
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with demonstrable success in previous roles or projects
  • Fluent or near-native English language skills

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 244700 - 420000(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
