The role:

We are looking for a Developer (f/m/d) who is passionate about building tools, automation, and integrations to strengthen our Lifecycle Management team in Sofia.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of development and platform engineering, building internal solutions that improve how shared systems across SAP Cloud Infrastructure are operated, automated, and used.

You will contribute to the evolution of critical platform components by developing tooling and services that reduce complexity, increase automation, and improve developer experience.

What you’ll do:

  • You will build integrations between systems such as CI/CD platforms, Netbox, and infrastructure tooling
  • You will automate workflows and reduce manual operational effort across platform processes
  • You will contribute to improving developer experience and platform usability
  • You will work closely with the DevOps engineers in the team to support the evolution of shared platform systems
  • You will develop APIs, scripts, and services that enable better system interaction and automation
  • You will contribute to maintaining and improving existing tooling and internal services
  • You will support troubleshooting and improvements through code and automation

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
  • Strong programming skills in Python or Go
  • Experience building APIs, services, or automation tools
  • Solid understanding of software engineering practices
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native environments and infrastructure concepts
  • Interest in working close to platform systems and automation
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
  • Excellent team player, passionate about his/her work, self-motivated and driven
  • Good communication skills in English (written and spoken)

Tech you bring:

  • Python or Go
  • REST APIs, CLI tools, automation services
  • Git and CI/CD workflows
  • Linux environments
  • Kubernetes understanding
  • OpenStack or similar infrastructure platforms — familiarity is a plus, especially when working with platform integrations
  • Experience with automation tools or infrastructure — nice to have
