• You're working toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• You have experience or a strong interest in Linux, Python, Golang, or other scripting languages.
• You take initiative, persevere when things get tough, and stay curious about how things work.
• You bring a genuine orientation toward your teammates and the people your work affects.
• A curiosity about AI tools and automation — you're open to using them to work smarter and take responsibility for the outputs you produce.
• You communicate clearly in English, both in writing and in conversation.

What you'll build

You'll join the BTP HANA DCE Infrastructure Landscape team and contribute to the reliability and performance of SAP HANA Cloud. Your work will have a direct impact on one of SAP's core cloud platforms.

• Develop and maintain infrastructure tooling using Python, Golang, or shell scripting.
• Work on Linux-based systems that support SAP HANA Cloud operations.
• Contribute to infrastructure automation and delivery improvements.
• Collaborate with engineers on real projects with live responsibilities.
• Investigate technical challenges and help develop solutions.
• Document your findings and share them with the team.

You'll be part of the BTP HANA DCE Infrastructure Landscape team in Xi'an — a group of engineers at the heart of SAP HANA Cloud's infrastructure. It's a hands-on environment where you're expected to contribute from day one. When you join SAP, you'll be a part of SAP Next Gen — a global community of students and early professionals with access to mentors, development programmes, and peers. Xi'an is home to one of SAP's key R&D hubs, and this internship puts you at the centre of it.
