What you`ll do:
In your role as a Development Expert (f/m/d) in our Private Cloud Sustenance team (area formerly known as AIS or IMS), you will work on following topics:


• You will provide expert maintenance and support for our software in the area of Materials Management (Inventory Management, Invoice Verification) in S/4HANA Private Cloud
• Communicate and work directly with customers to understand their needs and business processes
• Analyze and debug complex code, resolve software issues reported by our customers
• You will consult and support our customers, consultants and other SAP teams with your deep product expertise
• Share knowledge within our existing teams and the existing network with our colleagues in Product Support.
• You use your experience and knowledge to round up and stabilize our solutions available on the market (e.g. performance, supportability & maintainability, code quality, best practices documents…)

What you bring:
• Expert-level ABAP skills
• Experience with other SAP technologies like Fiori or RAP
• Background in Logistics and Materials Management with experience in Inventory Management, Invoice Verification or Procurement is a plus
• Leadership mindset: Taking ownership and driving key topics like AI within the team
• Strong customer focus with excellent communication skills to effectively engage with customers
• Strong analytical skills to understand and solve complex issues
• Ability to adapt quickly to new situations and tasks
• A team-oriented mindset, embracing diversity and collaboration
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
• Excellent English and German proficiency

In our Private Cloud unit, we have the vision to safeguard our installed base and help our customers in their cloud transformation. The teams that were doing development of S/4HANA Private Cloud products and teams doing maintenance in “Application Innovation Services (AIS)” were brought into one unit. We are in the next phase of evolution where we have formulated functionally focused L3 units that drive the innovation agenda as well as maintenance delivery of these products which continue to be the lifeline of SAP.
