WHAT YOU’LL BUILD

  • Build and scale the NextGen SAP SCM Business Network platform, driving innovation, deployment, and enterprise adoption.
  • Architect and deliver cloud-native, secure, scalable, and high-performing distributed systems leveraging modern microservices architecture and domain-driven design principles.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to design robust technical solutions, perform rapid prototyping, and evaluate technical feasibility for complex business challenges.
  • Lead architecture discussions and establish engineering best practices focused on maintainability, reliability, observability, and operational excellence.
  • Mentor and guide developers through technical leadership, architecture reviews, and continuous engineering excellence initiatives.
  • Drive quality engineering practices including Test-Driven Development (TDD), automated testing, code reviews, and DevOps-driven delivery pipelines.
  • Partner with product management, program management, and cross-functional stakeholders to shape the roadmap of SAP’s Unified Business Network vision.
  • Contribute to integrating SAP Business Network solutions including Asset Intelligence Network, Logistics Business Network, and Ariba Network into a unified intelligent enterprise platform.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 12+ years of strong hands-on experience in software engineering, system architecture, and enterprise application development.
  • Deep expertise in one or more programming languages such as Java, TypeScript, Python, or Golang.
  • ·Exposure to AI/ML technologies, Generative AI concepts, or AI-driven developer productivity tools is an added advantage.
  • Strong experience designing and building cloud-native applications using modern architectural patterns and distributed systems principles.
  • Proven expertise in domain-driven design (DDD), microservices architecture, and scalable platform engineering.
  • Solid understanding of DevOps culture, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, observability, and operational scalability.
  • Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices, coding standards, design principles, and secure development methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical solutioning, architecture discussions, and cross-team engineering initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical documentation skills.
  • Passion for mentoring engineers and fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and engineering excellence.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MCA, or related field from a premier institute.
