What You’ll Build

  • Be part of the SAP Fiori Elements framework and Suite controls development located in SAP Labs India, Bangalore. Work on development & support of Suite controls and floor plan like Analytical List Page, List Report , Object Page etc.
  • Strong inclination to work in a development support profile coupled with a strong Customer-first outlook.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong technical troubleshooting skills and a keen interest in leveraging AI tools and automation to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and enhance productivity.
  • Build or leverage AI workflows/agents, utilise AI tools and copilots to accelerate issue resolution.
  • Committed to continuous innovation and improvement based on customer feedback and internal initiatives.
  • Conduct customer facing communication in a professional manner, and to a high level of customer service.
  • Win customer loyalty by creating memorable experiences for customers. Resolve customer issues with transparency and urgency.
  • Be responsible for the overall incident backlog for the owned topics and ensure to keep this at optimal level.

What You Bring

  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on front-end development experience and expertise with JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  • Experience with Frontend development/UI5 is a big plus. Any web-based technology framework expertise is good to have.
  • Experience in development and issue analysis using coding agents like Github copilot , Cline etc.
  • Exposure to AI/ML concepts or AI-powered developer tools. Interest in exploring AI-driven improvements in software development and support processes.
  • If you are a person with more than 5 years of experience, you must have hands on experience with developing reusable components and framework elements
  • Experience in Service Now incident management tools
  • Good working knowledge of continuous delivery and well-versed with monthly release cycles
  • Good communication skills, team player and self-driven
  • Well organized and meticulous co-ordination skills with internal and external stake holders
  • Willingness and ability to quickly learn new technologies and frameworks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and presentation skills in English.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently.

SAP Fiori elements - List Report and Object Pages for OData V2 is the most used floorplan with over 1000+ usages and it plays as the backbone of majority business scenarios used by customers and partners for Fiori adoption. With ~80% of our applications built on Fiori elements. Suite controls are an integral part of the SAP UI5 ecosystem, extensively utilized across various applications. They encompass both OpenUI5 and SAPUI5 runtimes, which adhere to open standards and incorporate robust development concepts.
