What you’ll do

Step into the role of Java Developer at our company, where you will play an active role in developing the most critical mechanisms for the widely used and long-lasting product.

ROLE AND TASKS

• Developing the core part of e-commerce solution
• Actively participating in addressing non-functional requirements such as performance, security, continuous integration, migration, and compatibility
• Putting high quality of the product first throughout the software development cycle
• Participating in peer reviews and technical discussions within the team
• Being a member of an agile team that is part of an international organization
• Working closely with product managers, other developers, quality specialists and technical writers

What you bring

• Experience and good understanding of Java programming and the Spring Boot framework
• Practical experience working with Kubernetes (K8s) and OAuth 2.0-based authentication and authorization flows
• A strong commitment to consistently producing high-quality, functional outcome
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing technologies, frameworks, etc.
• Practical knowledge of relational databases
• Experience in a Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) environment, including familiarity with related processes and tools
• A good understanding of basic security and performance concepts
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English

Meet your team

At SAP Commerce, our team of experienced Java engineers builds and maintains the security backbone of SAP Commerce Cloud. We design and evolve authentication and authorization mechanisms protecting business services running in Kubernetes clusters.
We develop external authorization integrated with Istio, manage tenant isolation, and provide cluster-level access control - enabling product teams to focus purely on business value.

Compensation Range Transparency

SAP believes pay transparency is essential for cultivating an honest, supportive, and inclusive culture, representing a significant step in our commitment to leading the way in achieving pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range, which includes both base salary and variable incentive targets for the career level of the posted role. The target range for this position is 184900 - 277300(PLN) [EUR]. The actual amount offered to successful candidates will fall within this range and will depend on factors such as education, skills, experience, and role scope, as determined during the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a target amount, with the actual payout depending on both company and individual performance.
