What you`ll do

Following the “Software as a Service” (SaaS) approach, the operational and the maintenance activities for a software operated in the cloud are not on the customer side anymore. Despite this fact, a high degree of application details is requested by the IT and development departments on the customer side who are the first contact to the busines users in case of instabilities or performance issues in such a SaaS-product. Getting more understanding about what is happening inside of the application with respect to the performance and the content usage is one of the major requirements of many customers of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) at the moment.

As a Developer you’ll contribute to the ongoing development activities in the team to further extend the logging, monitoring, benchmarking and auditing capabilities of SAC as well as to analysis and evaluation of the collected data to improve the performance of the product and to reduce the cost of ownership of the cloud infrastructure. You’ll contribute to the improvements in the already existing code but also to new developments in this area.

What you bring

• University degree in computer science or related areas
• Analytical skills, ability to work on complex problems and to do the conceptual work
• Good programming skills
• Knowledge and experience with languages JavaScript and TypeScript is preferable
• Knowledge and experience with SAP HANA is preferable
• Strong team player
• Fluent in German and English
