What you’ll build:

As a Developer Associate in the Data Marketplace team, Catalog & Governance Service area, you are responsible for working on frontier solutions inside SAP's newest flagship product, SAP Business Data Cloud. Together, we shape and build the tools and features of the future to enable our customers to:

• Build, bundle, ship, and discover Data Products and Intelligent Content inside SAP Business Data Cloud and SAP's whole industry portfolio
• Develop Data Marketplace-related tooling in SAP Business Data Cloud
• Deliver high-quality software based on Node.js, SAPUI5, and related technologies
• Leverage AI-based coding to a maximum and help redefine the way we work with agentic tools for coding

What you bring:

In addition to your enthusiasm to work in a young, dynamic team of twelve, you bring the following to the table:

• Foundational knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript
• Curiosity and early hands-on experience with agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub in a collaborative, team-based workflow
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

The Data Marketplace team, Catalog & Governance Service, is part of the SAP Business Data Cloud development organization. We are a young, two-pizza-sized team, located in Walldorf, Germany, focusing on delivering high-quality software to our customers and partners. We have a strong background in Node.js backend and SAPUI5 frontend development and love to experience new technologies.
