Job Description

We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

What You'll Do

Lead Strategic Transformation Projects

  • Own end-to-end delivery of enterprise-scale projects that strengthen Private Cloud operations and business performance - from shaping and business-case definition through execution and value realization.

  • Run each project as a business: manage scope, trade-offs, investment, and the P&L narrative across commercial, financial, and delivery dimensions.

  • Drive to measurable outcomes - not activity - and hold the project accountable to quantified business impact.

Orchestrate Across Sales, Finance, and Delivery

  • Align and orchestrate initiatives spanning commercial operations, finance processes, and Private Cloud delivery, ensuring the value chain operates as one integrated system.

  • Manage cross-domain dependencies and close gaps at the handoffs between functions, where risk and value most often concentrate.

  • Proactively de-risk by surfacing dependencies, control weaknesses, and delivery risks early — with quantified impact and clear mitigation paths.

Operate with a Modern AI-Enabled PM Toolbox

  • Bring a full, modern project management AI toolbox to the role — not ad-hoc prompting, but a fluent, disciplined operating model across the PM lifecycle.

  • Expected fluency spans (and will be explored in detail during the interview):

    • Planning & structuring - AI-assisted scope decomposition, estimation, roadmap and dependency modeling.

    • Execution & delivery - automated status synthesis, meeting and decision capture, action extraction, RAID maintenance.

    • Analysis & insight - anomaly and risk detection, root-cause exploration, scenario and trade-off analysis over project and operational data.

    • Communication & reporting - executive-grade narrative generation, stakeholder-tailored updates, board and steering materials.

    • Governance & quality - knowledge management across project artifacts, consistency checks, and AI-assisted quality control.

  • Continuously raise the AI maturity of the teams you lead — evaluating new tools, codifying best practices, and setting the bar for how modern projects are run.

Align Executives and Influence Outcomes

  • Engage stakeholders up to C-level across CRO, CFO, and Cloud Delivery organizations; translate fluently between commercial, financial, and technical audiences.

  • Drive alignment across competing agendas; escalate with options, not just problems.

  • Influence effectively without formal authority and build the coalitions that make change stick.

Institutionalize Governance and Sustained Change

  • Establish steering cadences, decision logs, RAID, and OKR / value-tracking frameworks tied to business outcomes.

  • Codify new processes, controls, and operating rhythms so improvements become business-as-usual, not one-time initiatives.

  • Deliver clean, executive-grade reporting that makes complex operational and financial stories clear.

What You Bring

Must-Have

  • 10+ years in program/project management, with a strong track record leading large, complex, enterprise-level transformation projects.

  • Cross-domain fluency across at least two of — and working literacy in all three of — Sales/commercial, Finance, and Private/Managed Cloud Delivery. You can hold a credible conversation with a CRO, a CFO's org, and a cloud delivery lead in the same day.

  • Commercial and financial acumen — comfort with deal structures, billing and revenue concepts, unit economics, and the mechanics of end-to-end quote-to-cash and provision-to-invoice flows.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management — demonstrable experience aligning C-level and senior executives across organizational boundaries.

  • AI-era operating fluency — hands-on, disciplined use of a broad PM AI toolbox (planning, execution, analysis, communication, governance). Candidates should be prepared to walk through concrete tools, workflows, and outcomes during the interview — this is a core evaluation dimension, not a nice-to-have.

  • Structured delivery discipline — deep command of project/program governance, financials, risk and dependency management, and both traditional (waterfall/stage-gate) and Agile delivery at scale.

  • Executive communication — you make complex financial and operational stories clear for senior audiences.

Strongly Preferred

  • Direct experience in Revenue Assurance, Revenue Operations, Quote-to-Cash, Finance transformation, or Cloud operations programs.

  • Domain exposure to enterprise software, SaaS, hyperscaler, or private-cloud ecosystems and their monetization and billing models.

Nice-to-Have

  • Certifications: PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, SAFe (SPC/RTE), or equivalent.

  • Consulting or Big-4 transformation background.

  • Formal change management credentials.

  • Formalized financial acumen (e.g., finance certification, controls, or audit experience)
