This is a paid internship placement that provides students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers.

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

You want to be a part of a successful project that:

• has a clear vision - provides the automation of deployment of the Enterprise Commerce to Cloud
• has thousands of customers
• touches the cutting-edge technologies
• has development teams located around the world (Follow-The-Sun)
• has well organized development based on clear FRs, NFRs and DoD
• has automated deployment using CI/CD pipelines
• has thousands of automated tests written
• puts a lot of emphasis on documentation

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

• Develop applications using mainly Java, Spring framework, Git and Maven.
• Work as a part of a cross-functional, Agile development team, embracing the Scrum approach.
• Contribute to providing a high-quality code by following the best practices and design patterns.
• Design and write automated unit, integration and acceptance tests.
• Actively drive non-functional requirements such as performance, security, continuous integration, migration and compatibility.
• You love to design, build and operate highly scalable cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with members of the wider product development team across multiple international locations.
• You’re not afraid to present your own ideas to your team.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required skills

• Student of a bachelor's or master’s degree in quantitative field – preferably Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Practical knowledge of the Java programming language
• Sound knowledge of Docker and/or Kubernetes
• Good communication skills and fluency in English, Polish is an advantage
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing technologies, frameworks, etc
• Expertise to explain technical problems and understand business requirements
• Capability and willingness to work as a part of a self-organizing team
